  1. RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg played in the same Europa League group back in 2018. Salzburg beat Leipzig twice.
  2. DCL and Beto have 5 goals combined this season...
  3. Luton are going down. It is either them or Forrest after the points deduction. I also think Luton schedule is unfavorable and their run of form seems to be over.
  4. I would like the Dodgers owners, but I will not turn down the Yankees either. They have the highest payroll in MLB, with about $300 million to be paid out to their players in 2024. And it will be a massive double derby: Yankees & Everton vs Red Sox & Liverpool
  5. He's an idiot. It's one thing if he's disappointed by Everton and he might have his fair reasons. But his actions only show his lack of professionalism, which isn't helping his career.
  6. Good luck to Barkley in securing his final paycheck before going into retirement. He has been a disappointment to each of the clubs he signed with after leaving Everton and only recently found a run of form. It is a big gamble signing him because I'm not sure how long he can keep this going.
  7. How? We would still be in the mess with FSR and no money for transfers for another season or two. How exactly are we going to compete without proper signings? Teams contending for Top 10 are spending like crazy. The last time we spent anything was the Gordon money, and we wasted it on dogshit fucking Beto. Unless we sell Branthwaite we won't have funds to improve the team. How we are still in this league is beyond me. Considering all circumstances the job Dyche is doing is monumental.
  8. Let's look at it realistically. We've spent fuck all on transfers in the past three years - net transfer spend of -75m. There's only one other team with negative transfer spending, and that's Brighton. While we do have some good players and occasionally get lucky patches, the reality is that we aren't very good as a team, and our players aren't consistently performing well. Dyche does a good job of getting the best out of them, but sometimes he fails, or rather the players fail him. Anyway, we are where we are with our current squad in bad form. It is clear as day that we need a significant investment if we are to become competitive.
  9. Players are treated as workers. They have insurance, but it mostly covers career ending injuries, death, disability, etc. which are paid out to the player or their family in case of an accident. I don't think clubs receive anything from regular injuries, otherwise insurance policies would be unmanageable. Dele will leave on a free and Tottenham will get nothing from it.
  10. I love it. It is different from most modern stadiums with a minimalistic oval shape. Ours is so much more than that. Though I've seen people on Twitter mocking the design, saying it looks like a more expensive version of the King Power Stadium.
  11. Rest in peace, Bill. Condolences to his family.
  12. He's as good if not better offensively than everyone else. However, his defensive work is lacking which is why he isn't getting much of a chance. He just doesn't suit Dyche's system and the style of football played in the Premier League as a whole. Lyon are in a rebuilding phase and surely it is a better option for him to play regularly for a historically successful team in a less demanding league.
  13. Aren't Sevilla a 777 asset? We can settle this with a private phone call.
  14. He is well overrated. Hopefully we get a hefty fee.
  15. Nobody can convince me that there isn't an agenda against Everton.
