Says that Dm might have to include Woods in his squad if the FA don't allow him to bring in a goalkeeper on loan.

Says that he doesn't hold out much hope that the FA will allow him to.

Like the bit he says about woods 'The worrying thing is Chris will most prob hold out for a massive contract' :D :D

Average age of 33.4yrs old.

If my memory serves me well, i think that was the name of the oldest player to play in top flight football. 52yrs old, Tiny Woods was his name.........i think. Weighed about 18 stone and stood 6ft 4 inches.

He was also a goalkeeper, Might have to check on it tho.

Did see sir Stanley Mathews play when he was nearly 50. :blink:

If my memory serves me well, i think that was the name of the oldest player to play in top flight football. 52yrs old, Tiny Woods was his name.........i think.  Weighed about 18 stone and stood 6ft 4 inches.

He was also a goalkeeper, Might have to check on it tho.

Woods even in his heyday was nothing more than average

Straying off topic a bit but Terry Dyson, winger from the Spurs double winning team 60/61 signed for Guildford City in the early seventies...my local club at the time..God knows how old he was but he was still an incredible talent!!

:lol: quality stuff! :lol: cudnt we just bring a young lad up from the youth team or has woods tampered wid there brakes (on there bikes :D ) so he gets a game :D
