i was mainly interested in forwards and goalscoring midfielders, when you see the amount of players weve been linked to its unbelievable that we are short of players,i wonder what teams kendall or royle would have produced. :)

To be fair not all those players were confirmed targets.

Also to be fair some of those players DM tried to sign and choose not to join us (Parker, Emre, Sissco)

I agree on the Parker point doing well since returning from injury, as is Bellamy. Again alot of these players chose not to join us so Moyes was in for them, yes you can say it was his fault they didnt join ie negotiating skills but he is limited to what he can offer aswell.

We were also linked with:

Michael Carrick
Michael Dawson
Paul Robinson
Michael Essien, until the shite came in for him it was a possibility, then his price was pushed too high.
Petr Cech, before he signed for Rennes we were the favourites to sign him.
Joe Cole
Andy Reid

To true,

I desperately hope we get the Turkish/German Star Einvee Siebleman as has been touted about.

He would deffo add a dimension of differance to our midfield.

Anyone sane (or old) enough to remember our link with Meuller (Brazilian world cup substitute) - he wanted 1m a year, tax free, a pad in London and a helicopter to get to training. Plus he wanted a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave if he didn't like the UK winter.

Quality player though!

Anybody remember the Chris Sutton affair the first time round?!?!

Blackburn signed him for 6m on the Monday morning, we offered 5m on the Tuesday morning - quality...

we are shit, yet laughable, in the transfer market and we always have been since Catterick left...

Something similar happened with dunc when he signed for rangers..they signed him we bid lower the same day

Nice to see Everton has (mostly) been run by a bunch of dickwits over the years

the thing is ian just one signing, espescially darren bent could have changed our whole season,we could still be in the champ lge,so annoying instead we bought per kroldrup, even davie moyes must lose sleep over that one.
