Howard did not play in the USA-Barbados WC qualifier tonight. The injury report listed a "minor back strain" that he picked up in practice on Friday. Doesn't sound too serious, and the US didn't need him anyway - frankly they could've had my five-year-old niece playing keeper and still won this game. Barbados is tied with Estonia in the world rankings, but they played...well, I could say that their play inspired comparisons to San Marino, but that would be an insult to the San Marinese.

Also, for whatever it's worth, considering the opposition, Michael Bradley was one of the players who got on the score sheet.
