Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Who owns the land that the stadium will be built on? Tesco or Everton? - Thescore

A. The landowners will essentially be Knowsley Council. Everton will lease from Tesco - a 999 year agreement has been mentioned in the past. Essentially Everton will be renting the land the stadium is built on from Tesco and Robert Elstone has said that Everton will benefit from activities that go on in the stadium (presumably excluding Knowsley Council's 100 free uses per year).

100 free uses a year?

That is not going to do the pich much good and if it is redone after every 'event' who pays for it?
