I voted for Pienaar today. I thought that his contribution to the side was excellent and he could really be the man that steps into Mikel's boots. He showed good strength when he was on the ball and managed to get down the wing and cause real problems within the West Brom defence. Fully expect him to get a few more goals (and MOTM votes) in the coming weeks - he could be the player to take us into Europe.

Saha did well getting a goal too, great turn and shot.

Jagielka gave another superb performance, could have got MOTM.

Baines did well at the back and looked good going foreward.

Cahill made a good effort with his goal, back to usual heading standard and is one of our best players at the moment.

Howard did well to fill in when needed, looked solid.

Jagielka, Pienaar, Baines and Cahill all played well. I'll go with Jagielka for saving our arses on more than one occasion (especially the one off the line). Howard also did well when required.

Quite sad that versus the bottom side and at Goodison that a defender is even in the running for MOTM.

A few other things:

Fellaini is a clumsy fucker.

Castillo is simply not good enough.

Jo slows up the play a bit too much and a few times instead of playing the simple ball tried to be clever and then lost it.

Neville was quite poor when in an attacking position.

Hope we dont persist with Jags taking free kicks in front of goal, PLEASE leave it to Baines.

Pienaar for me. An excellent industrious performance with added skill and flair, if only he could add that killer touch when in sight of goal. I thought the defence actually looked a bit shaky today with west Brom trying to play through them. I presume Lescott was rested because he is on 4 bookings and and the amnesty starts after todays game and they are wiped out.

I've posted on another thread exactly what I think of Feillani- basically he's a liability.

Pienaar lacks pace big time, and was ran past by Morrison particularly, but he does add more than the other midfielders.

Actually though Osman did well today when he come on.

Today just showed how slow we are as a team, Feillani is a cart horse, means we can't break quickly and get hit on the counter too often.

Thought we were poor today, looked to be lacking ideas going forward. I'll gleefully accept the 3 points but don't see any other teams allowing us to take 3 from them playing that poorly.

All is not too bad though as I'm just watching Boro beat Liverpoo on MOTD

I missed the game , but I owe Cahill a few votes for not voting for him in the past when it was close .

He is Evertons spark at the moment , and when Cahill buzzes , Everton buzzes .
