Let's hope the club sell loads of merchandise this time around, apparently last time none was taken and the American fans were miffed. TC - Apparently, they couldn't find another team interested in p(l)aying for the privilege. zequist Posted April 29, 2009 Report Share Posted April 29, 2009 They'd been talking to Valencia and Villareal, but the one dropped out because of their financial problems, and the other because they were concerned it might bump up against Europa League qualifying (third qualifying round starts that week).
