Bill
We just scraped out of the second division, a 4-0 win at Oldham got us a point ahead of Blackburn. In three consecutive games in February Everton beat Derby county 6-2 away, Plymouth Argyle 8-4 home, Brentford 6-1 also at home. 20 goals in 3 games inside two weeks. And we just changed places with our Neighbours from across the park who finished bottom of the 1st division on 28points. Found an interesting site if anybody wants any statistics about the Blues, or any other team for that matter. http://www.statto.com/football/teams

Bloody hell how leagues change! We would win every match if we were in that league now just look at who is featured in it. We got promotion that year and that's all good, I'm surprised at how many goals we scored, we'd be lucky to get twenty goals a season Funny how things change..8-4, bet that was on MOTD. MikeO
...8-4, bet that was on MOTD. Except MOTD didn't start until ten years later . Quite a run there Bill....were you at any of the games? I'd forgotten all about "Goal Average." Used to take some calculation at times!
Guest efctaxi
I wonder how many younger fans actually realise that Anfield used to belong to Everton , and Liverpool came from Everton players
