It's recently been revealed that Everton FC have secured their overdraft against the television money for 2009/2010 season (i.e. a year in advance). It's been secured at 3% (plus base rate) with Barclays.

Funny, can't access the link. Wouldn't hold my breath about spending, it's seems unlikely unless we sell Lescott.

It's not good news? It's simply a renewal of the terms from last year. In 2008 it cost 1.6m to maintain. If it does mean the transfer fund has become available, it means it is coming out of the overdraft.
