Claiming we are "battling" West Ham for Lyon's Algerian international winger, Rachid Ghezzal. Koomy wants "more pace" in the side, apparently. £6.8m bid made by West Ham, allegedly. 8 goals/8 assists in the league last year.

Here's the YouTube for you to drool over:

I know YouTube can make anyone look good, but that is one hell of a left foot. Good striking, determined running, he can cross... It'd be interested to know how he does for the rest of the games these highlights were taken from, looks like another Mirallas.

Could make sense... Maybe a 4-4-1-1 of sorts with Gerry playing centrally behind Rom and Ross moving a bit deeper?

I think one of the key things Koeman wants in players is positional flexibility. He clearly likes to be flexible with his tactics and have his front line rotate around as well. So, rather than focusing on how a player fits into one particular formation, we should probably be considering how adaptable they are to different roles. If this is a player who can move around in a front three or four and who has a diverse skill set (it looks like he is that kind of player), then he's somebody we might really want to have around the squad, pushing all of our forward players for a spot in the XI.

Spot on. We know koeman has been promised a lot of dough in the transfer market or he wouldn't have come. So far we haven't spent a penny of our own. Get this lad in and then the lad from twente. Kone next and then a fast number nine. We would be a proper counter attacking team. All that's left is a keeper
