I'd call it active yes, it's not as busy as some but I prefer it this way personally. If you've got a forum with hundreds of members on all the time you can reply to a post and find that by the time you're finished there are twenty more responses to wade through. Also I think we possibly get to know each other a bit better the size we are; my comparison is always like being locals in a pub having a chat, different people wander in and out and newcomers are always welcome, there's the occasional bit of handbags but ultimately we all want the same thing. markjazzbassist and Romey 1878 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

TT has the perfect activity rate, enough that you'll see new posts each day and a new topic or 2, but not enough that you can't stay caught up. also the tangents in threads are legendary here, and to the mods credit are not discouraged (if anything they are encouraged), which contributes to a familiar and "like one big family" atmosphere.
