voted Sandro just because he opened the game up and really was the impetus behind upping the attack and scoring. thought keane schneiderlin and gana looked great too.

Even before his goal, I'd already noted how sharp he looked. How active he was down that left flank and cutting inside when needed.

 

He doesn't look like he has stopped playing for pre season!

Gana. One bad giveaway but otherwise lively, all over the pitch cutting out passes and opening up play. Honorable mentions to Klaassen and Sandro, though Sandro frustrated as much as he impressed, if only because he was too eager to score. Keane and Baines both better than solid.

Schneiderlin's just so quietly good that it's hard to give him man of the match, even though you probably could 90% of the games he's played for us.

Schneiderlin. Sandro was excellent though. Busy player.... that's what you call intelligent movement and what it gives the team is the opportunity to exploit a disturbed defence.
