surely he should be staying at bellfield were we can keep an eye on his ankle. Rather than let him go and train and maybe even play for England!!

Pros and cons I think, I agree, keep him here but on the flip side, he could do with gaining some fitness after a couple of weeks out. Hopefully he wont be pushed too hard!

He played for us today so I don't see why a bit of extra training with England is such a bad idea. Stay away from the prick Gerrard though eh?

Johnson's never hidden his desire to play for England and was one of the main reasons he left Crystal Palace. I think it'll be good for his confidence and we saw what difference that makes to his game after the whole "diver" campaign. He'll probably only get 20 minutes anyway.

Wont do him any harm in going with England, was fit enough to play 75 mins for us today then he's fit enough for england!
