Mac
Ditto to Alex, pleased about it, I would now like him to do something that will elevate him in our hearts and minds. ATB Mac
Romey 1878
I totally agree with the posts above. Us even offering him a new contract will give him confidence that the manager believes in him, its time for him to repay that faith.

voxyblue
Yer, for me the best footy I've seen him play came towards the end of last season. Don't think he's great, but he might put pressure on other squad members to perform. Good back up player, yes
L_Blue
and even if we sell him, now he has a long contract the scottish clubs can't try to get him on the cheap
Ian
Just echo whats been said about McFudge over the last few weeks. Can be a good player on his day, needs to have the confidence to perform but all in all a decent and versatile player that can always be sold to Scotland if need be Happy that he signed. CraccerC
bollocks i wanted him to go aw well on the bright side, least he's committed, maybe he will improve, stranger things have happened, saying that might be more chance of a meteor destroying the planet

I would have prefered to sell him and get someone in the January transfer window. He brings nothing to the table and two screamers out of 30+ appearances isnt going to cut it. With any hope he'll be in the reserves with Anichebe 3rd choice.
thebluenose
ok heres a thought. what if faddy scores lets say 12 next season with some of those coming off the bench. will ppl then see him as a useful player. and will you be prepared to eat humble pie if he comes good

Adam
Was worried one way or the other if he signed a new contract as long as if he didn't we managed to get the money back that we paid for him. To many times have people been saying on here 'is this the chance for McFadden to shine) He had the chance last season and altough he improved in my opinion not enough. We now have AJ & BT which will most prob be the starting line up and if he needs confidence to get on his best form he is not going to get that with starting on the bench. Agree with other people that we need players to sign to increase the squad so for me the only bonus about him signing is gives us another player for the squad

Romey 1878
Moyes has been telling reporters constantly not to forget about Faddy when he's been asked about AJ and BT forming a partnership, it doesnt sound like he's behind Anichebe
thebluenose
he won't though ... plus anichebe will be ahead of him surely in the order? 45640[/snapback] your missing the point. there is a chance faddy will deliver i know people are saying he wont but all im saying is that there is a chance. and my point is exactly that if he does do will you be prepared to eat your words. If he comes good I will be the first to admit I was wrong but hes had three seasons now to prove himself. One too many.

Romey 1878
Its expected that Faddy will actually start against Watford, I cant see it being Faddy and AJ upfront myself so it looks like AJ may be on the bench

EFCfanatic
I agree Ola. We need to give everyone a run though. Every player feels like they've got a great chance this year of being in the team. I'm well pleased faddy's stayin. Moyes said in an article his goals to game ratio is as good as anyones...
