Andy
just got in from the match, was appauled by our atmosphere today, no one really seemed to give a shit, ful credit to the watford fans, they kept going the full 90minutes,i was hella embarassed when we were getting chants such as "youre supposed to be at home" and "we only want one song", some of the time i just felt like i was the only person in the ground along with their lot having a slanging match, not slagging everyone off like im just curious as to why we didnt rise to the challenge today like we usually do,did anyone else reckon the atmosphere was drab? Andy
that never usually matters from my experiences mate, i went the home dinamo game last season, we were up the creek from the first game as it was but we were still singing our hearts out, we were 2-0 up yesterday and we still couldnt crack a smile! GoldfishMemory
I agree we were poor and I had several moments of standing singing with r kid where people behind were asking us to sit doen and we sit in the middle near the back of the Gwladys! Randomness
meh, its an unimportant match to us, yeah to watford its their cup final ("2-0 in ya cup final" sang that one on my own) when the big games come for Everton then the crowd rises. i'm sorry but little clubs like watford rightly are down on our list of teams we get excited about playing. Romey 1878
It shouldnt matter who we are playing tbh, the fans should get behind the team every week

Romey 1878
Isnt that what most Evertonians pride themselves on? The fact that we sing no matter what.
StevO
but we dont sing no matter what, only for the big games. the atmosphere is nothing compared with times of old, and im only talking 5-6 years. there is not the constant singing all the way through the game. probably because we havent had much to sing about in the last decade
Willo
Its a weird one , i've noticed in the games i've been too at the tail end of last year its getting quiet at Goodison and it pi55es me right off . If we're sh!t i still keep screaming my head off , i'd say its a pretty poor show if you don't come away from the match with your voice missing . <_< My mates come up with a new song for when we get that Brazilian lad from Malaga ................................. '' And its Hi HO Da Silva lineing , anywhere we go now baby ''
