COPENHAGEN, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Real Madrid's Thomas Gravesen has returned to Denmark to train with former club Vejle amid confusion as to whether or not the midfielder made the trip with the approval of the Primera Liga side.

Real said the international had not been given permission to return to Denmark."

I hear he's agreed terms with the barcodes and Celtic so they are just haggling with Real over the fee .

No chance he's coming back to us although i'd fickin love it if he did .

What was it he said when he left us '' i wont play for 2 different teams in the same league '' ??????

Go to Celtic son please , couldn't bare to see him in the Barcode kit ( would be almost as bad as c-ing Big Dunc when he signed for the Geordie sh!te ) .

He's just signed for the hoops. As for us I don't think we'll get anyone but you never no, like I said in another thread though I would prefer to stick with the squad then get some deadwood in

So what use was this supposed "First option" we had on him if he left Real?

No point Mike, its another dud clause that we got when we sold a player <_< I think another possibility is we did have first choice and he didn't want to come back..which sounds pretty likely to me. To be honest I went past the idea of taking him back, time to move on now me thinks.

Do we really want him back, bit of a retro step IMO. I think it has been pointed out he performed for the 4-5 months of his time with us and as a result landed himself a blinding move. I feel for him to return would place unrealistic expectations on his shoulders.

Plus a huge burden to our wage bill, Cheers Tommy but no thanks. Good luck wherever you end up.

i agree, i don't really understand everyone desperately hoping we'd get someone tomorrow.

where do you feel we needed a player, the left wing is the only place that could do with someone if VDM doesn't come through. other than that the squad is looking pretty good, much stronger than previous years.

i also think that moyes did good business this transfer window, he got his deals done early and with no dithering or pain that he has previously had. he knew exactly who he wanted at the start of the window and he got those buys in quickly.

i don't think we had money for anyone else and there was no point taking loans on anyone that may not be needed.

last day deals can often end up at costing you more than they would have unless the other team are very keen to sell.

i was suprised kilbane was sold, mainly because he was still a good squad player for us given our lack of cover in his position. hopefully someone will prove they can slot into that position this season.

so far as spending less than the shites goes, i really don't care! they're just another team in the league that have more money than us, we've done the best we can with the money we have available.
