Romey 1878
Nobody stood out but I gave it to Fellaini because he was always wanting to get the ball on the ground and play football.
duncanmckenzieismagic
I actually thought it was a poor performance overall especially in the second half. Felli was decent but not as good as he has been lately and Piennar was busy but I went for Cahill purely because he scored one and made one and never stopped all night

We didn't play well and were fortunate that Sunderland were even worse.
Bailey
I gave it to Felli because I thought he was very good in the 1st half and probably the best of a bad bunch in the second although I probably shoudl have given it to Cahill. I though we were crap for most of that game and its lucky Sunderland were woeful. Im not confident about Distin at all and from what I have heard Senderos did a decent job today. IMO Distin makes Heitinga play worse. When he was next to Neill he looked absolutely solid and in control yet at times with Distin he looks a bit nervous and sometimes desperate. Baines, Osman, Pienaar, Donovan were all decent and put in a shift. Cahill scored and created but he didnt do too much else over the 90mins. Saha was poor again especially as the 2nd half wore on. One of the worst players on the pitch for me was Neville. He looks more and more like Hibbert on the ball. He panics, he plays terrible passes, he doesnt look comfortable controlling a ball that isnt rolling nicely on the turf and he very rarely looks for a forward pass. I lost count the number of times in this game that he played a shocking pass or hoofed one 20 yards in the air for a player 20 yards away. He consistenly put us under pressure, even if he did do a reasonable job defensively. Hes great if we are up against a good team and need his experience and leadership at the back, but when we need to attack and beat teams he is a hinderance. Another thing about Neville is that his lack of ability going forward hampers Donovan. We should be making use of his pace and technical ability on the right but because of Nevilles faults he is either receiving terrible passes which put him under pressure straight away or the ball is simply not going down the right of the pitch. It can make us very predictable at times which wont help us against teams that put up a better show that Sunderland did. Id also like to add that I though Moyes took ages to make any substitutions. Saha should have gone off a good 20mins before he did he shouldnt have brought Arteta on. Osman was doing a good job in the centre of battling for balls and although Arteta was good on the ball and held it up well he shouldnt be asked to come on against the cosh and get stuck in so soon after recovering from his injury. MikeO
Still a bit short of votes in this, understandably in the circumstances, so if you haven't voted yet please do .
