  1. Your word “cult” is appropriate. I have no expertise in explaining cult mindsets, but it strikes me as ironic that Trump supporters claim that Trump opponents are afflicted with “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” By which they mean, Trump just drives his opponents crazy. The irony is that, by multiple objective measures, it is Trump supporters themselves who suffer from actual “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Trump’s most avid, boisterous supporters are deranged, militant members of a Trump cult. The most extreme of the extreme are the nutty conspiracy theorists who advance the QAnon nonsense.

    Morgan Schneiderlin

Yeah, all confirmed. It's a chunky wage off our bill that simply wasn't going to be used enough to be justifiable. I don't think Morgan deserved the amount of criticism that seemed to come his way, but he was never going to be an integral part of our plans for the future. He will do well in Nice.

Somehow, even when he has been found out at PSG, they picked him 31 times this season. Including 20 of their 27 league games and 6 of their 8 champions league games. I’m sure he’s doing just fine. whilst looking up how he’s getting on (don’t watch any other leagues) I saw in the champions league alone (two games against Real Madrid and two against Dortmund included) he managed 92% passing accuracy, not bad for a player who’s no good on the ball. Add to that 27 ball recoveries. I’d love a midfield player who can win the ball back and give it to a team mate. I’m sure his team mates

I’d have no issue what so ever with Besic on the bench for our remaining games, we’ve seen delph, morgan and gylfi put half shifts in whereas this lad would give everything. He can play a bit as well. He won’t get us top 4 playing week in week out but I’d have him around the squad, especially if we are European games.

  5. Yes, that’s part of the very gradual party transition. The South was left behind economically for more than a hundred years. Lost the war, economically and physically devastated, etc. As the Republican Party became the “party of business,” it abandoned its black voters in the South to their horrible new fate — segregation, lynching, disfranchisement, various forms of terrorism and subjugation. Northern Dems still needed white Southern Dem votes in Congress, and so until the 1950s-60s did not regularly or forcefully demand that discrimination be ended. Truly shameful, both parties, really.

  6. It’s accurate, but misleading. I’d have to write a post as long as the one above to explain it fully, and nobody wants that! So I’ll (try to) be brief. Our 2 main political parties have essentially switched their conservative/liberal ideologies in the decades after the Civil War. The Republican Party was founded in the 1850s as an antislavery (not quite the same as abolitionist) party. The Democratic Party was, yes, a proslavery party. Over the decades, into the 20th century, the Republicans became a more conservative, business-oriented party, and essentially allowed Southern Democra

Completely agree about Barkley. He had the platform to go on a be anything in a blue shirt. He hasn't done bad for himself mind you but the sky looked the limit.

His last champions league game was the second leg against Dortmund. He played the whole game. He also played the first leg too. When they played Real Madrid away they took him off at half time. But to be fair, they were 1-0 down and brought on Neymar. So I’d be pretty certain it was a tactical decision. I don’t think anything has caught up with him, other than playing all of their big games and picking up a couple of medals.

i have a small tent trailer (pop up camper it's also called) that we camp in. my family had one growing up and we traveled all over the US camping in national parks and state parks. it was extremely economical (otherwise we couldn't have afforded vacations) and fun. we've decided to do it with our family now too, our kids love it, and my wife and i enjoy the outdoors. it is still very very cheap. a campsite is 30 a night, a hotel would be 150 a night. you have the upfront cost of the camper but after that it's just small maintenance. i wouldn't call it glamping, that is tho

Booked 3 nights in one of these for my birthday weekend in August, very excited! https://booking.camping-guide.ch/lazyrancho/en/booking/8-holz-iglu.html also waiting to hear back from the hotel where I met my wife for our 10th anniversary, insane that it’s gone by so quickly

  14. They dominated possession sure. From my point of view there were 5 real scoring chances in the game and four of them were ours - Matip's header was the one for Liverpool. Alisson absolutely had more to do than Pickford.

McCarthy and Barry really were a great pairing. The best thing they did for our team was giving Baines and Coleman so much freedom with their cover, added to their uncomplicated passing and work rate. The one disappointing thing from their time was that Barkley didn’t do more with them two behind him.

  18. Throughout the upcoming transfer windows, I agree with Marcel Brands that we should be looking to bring in 2-3 players maximum however hypothetically speaking, which of the below players would you actually want to keep at Everton? The amount of deadwood has been famously lingering for a while now, so there's probably a ton from the Koeman/Walsh era that could be shifted. Perhaps this is the summer that we finally clear the decks, and can move forward over the next coming windows by adding genuine quality? Stay (18) Pickford, Holgate, Baines, Keane, Richarlison, DCL, Sigurdsson, Digne

  20. Norwich started well against Soton but it then went downhill pretty quickly after that. They still caused Soton plenty of problems despite the scoreline saying otherwise. The problem for them is that they are terrible at the back. You could argue that playing the same way as we did against Liverpool, drawing them onto us and then hitting the quick and hard against their dodgy back line could work quite well. We will need to pass to a blue shirt for that to work though!

  21. Bar one chance, they came when the Donkey Lovren came on. We weren't doing a bolt against VVD and Matip. Furthermore, in the long term, if you play that way you will lose more than you win. I get there was a time and a place for playing like that, we barely string two passes together for most of the game. We didn't stop them playing at all, we stopped them shooting. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but it wasn't like they barely had a kick. They just weren't at it in the final 3rd. They got into our box plenty of times. I'd imagine their back 4 got in our box more than our who

We came very close to buying one of them over the years, they look like the ideal combination of tent and caravan, but in the end we always stuck with tents. Small ones to start with but building up to palatial three bed-roomed 12 berth with thick rugs and room for a pony plus kitchen better than we had at home😂 Happy days.

Me too, improvement in finishing was the main criticism many had of him, I wasn’t overly critical but for me that’s improving by the day, we have a player who will continue to improve and seems a well grounded bloke. ( Moise Kean take note)

I hope you’re right, but I’ve never seen him excel at all in a blue shirt. Bernard can offer more on the left (though he can’t play away from home) and doesn’t seem Carlo wants to play with that central position, so not sure what the future holds for Iwobi right now. Though I can’t see him leaving.
