It’s the culture and training though. Anyone that has ever tried to diversify knows that this is important.

“Disaster of a loan. He won’t get any playing time,” they said. 😂

I understand what you’re saying, but I don’t agree. Allardyce put together a back 3 (when we’re tactically comfortable with 2 CBs), started Mangala (who hasn’t had even a week of training), sent out a pairing of Gana and Schneiderlin (who we haven’t seen work well together for a solid year), neglected to play anyone who can connect play in midfield (Rooney or Sigurdsson, for instance), played Martina as LWB (when he can just barely do a job at LB), started Bolasie and Niasse (each of whom works hard, but they serve us better as subs), and clearly had no plan for how we would use the ball (you can’t ONLY defend with your backs to the wall—you need to relieve pressure somehow). The man is an absolute idiot. He set them up for failure and they failed. Maybe some of them downed tools (I really don’t think they did, except for maybe Schneiderlin, but he’s been shit all season). But, they were trying to protect a fort with nerf guns and one hand tied behind their backs. I wouldn’t blame them for downing tools, if they did. Allardyce is the worst type of English manager. Tactically clueless and dependent entirely upon his ability to motivate.

He will develop as a person and player by moving abroad, experiencing different players, different tactics, learning a different culture. RBL actually try and play football too, we only do that on rare occasions!
If he is sitting on our bench he isnt playing reserve football for us either so that makes no difference.
As an example, if you were manager and you had the choice of a creative winger joining a Sam Allardyce team or a team managed by someone a bit like Klopp? A team that sit back and play the percentages or a team that want to win the ball high up the pitch and play aggressively with passion?

...but where he will receive a good footballing education and train with top class players.
I believe it was SAF who always told his players he’d rather have them go somewhere where they will benefit from top tacticians and players rather than somewhere they get playing time. Ideally, you’d like to see both. But, I really think it could be massive for Lookman’s development to be fighting for something at Leipzig rather than getting minutes in the Championship/League 1 and pulling off the same old tricks day after day.

I agree that being around very good coaches makes a massive difference, but that has to be balanced out by playing games against competitive opponents where you put learning into practice. That's where you develop your skills, build your confidence and really learn the game. These games have to be against a good level of opponent and either a top championship or prem team are ideal teams to play in.

I think going abroad is a great move. He will learn so much more tactically rather than just staying in England. It' great to see an English player taking that risk and it shows the character of the lad.

Anyway, this is the first Everton match that ı wear blues t-shirt . I bought it last week from London. The security in Manchester airport opened my  bag and see my New Everton shirt. He said “rubbish”, he said he is a Liverpool fan, Then ı took the Everton uniform ( FA CUP FINAL) and kiss it. He was angry:)
We are now fans of Everton!

Decent old game of footy that.
We won 2-1. Could have lost 2-1.
Could have won 4-1. Could have lost 4-1.
    Might have been 4-4!!!
So impressed with Coleman. He makes babies with a broken leg then comes back like he's played every week. When they do his autopsy, they'll find wires and circuit boards. If he gets cremated, there'll be no ash, just a stream of molten steel. 60 grands worth of the earths finest natural resource.

Gahhhhh I know I’ve mentioned it already, but it’s such a beautiful thing to see Seamus out there making those runs. Once he gets his precision back, it’ll improve us even more.

Why DCL and not Tosun? Makes no sense. We need someone who the ball will stick to, not someone to chase balls.

For fucks sake, its line ups like this that make me want to tear my hair out, spend millions on a striker and leave him out, change our central defensive pairing AGAIN, play the worst left back in the history of football when we have a genuine left back now available. Play Rooney and Siggy in the same side.
Fuck off Sam, fuck right off.

It’s strange that my reaction to this is no longer “Everton are above Vardy”, but “Why would Vardy want to leave Leicester to play under Sam fucking Allardyce?!?”
We’ve entered the fucking Twilight Zone.

The fuck was that? If Jags is man-marking Kane, then Martina can’t just be sitting in the box like that. What the hell is this tactic?

Walcott has his drawbacks, but he’d likely be very useful for us and he’s a tidier finisher than he gets credit for.
