  1. love and yak could be a lethal pairing. saha is 30, wont be around too long. fergie always said if a better striker becomes available you buy him. surely if we are to buy another top striker why do we have to look at one leaving. the more goal scorers you have in the squad the better
  2. well we knew about guardado a few years ago and now hes doing great in la liga. i hope DM goes looking at Sergio Motta, quality left winger. fabio and rafael were both great on FM, united snapped them two up.
  3. i think o'neill is up there, i think keane will be around for a long time, hes still learning. phil brown is another manager i like, i hope he goes a long way in his career. i think it'll be interesting to see how tony adams does, was such a good player hope he can pull it off. i think harry redknapp is a brilliant manager, what he did at pompy was amazing, and look at the turn around at spurs the way he gives players belief. and SAF is just the best there has been imo
  4. if you have to ask - you'll never know.
  5. Razorlight - Wire to wire Led Zep - Babe i'm gunna leave you
  6. Amber U Rli Mke Me Laf!!!! Init Hw Old R U? Ma B We Shud Ave A Grammar Fred N Teech Dese Kids A Fing R 2
  7. i understand what your saying, but workrate has never been part of yaks game. we all knew that when we signed him. i think the chant "feed the yak and he will score" is very true, the lad wont feed himself. if the yak ran his arse off pulling defenders out of position, then he wont be in the box himself. i always think you need a runner and a waiter. the best example in the prem for me, kuyt and torres last season. kuyt would run his arse off like a hunchbacked bellend, leaving space for the waiter, torres, to exploit. i think vaughan could be a great foil for the yak
  8. im very worried by the general problem with moyes face. there seems to be a lot of man love on here right now
  9. we could pick our way through the team if we really wanted to. howard flaps, hibbert cant cross, lescott cant remember the wonderful sport of football, osman isnt strong enough or big enough, arteta has no pace cant cross or hit a set piece, fellaini doesnt like to sprint, baines is gunna take up a different sport where he might be aloud to play, pienaars going to russia, VDM is pissed, cahill is just sheer wonderful, yak cant score but isnt really getting the chances from the midfield, i love louis saha, vaughans enthusiasm gets him in the way of his own team mates this season, vic has/is/will be shit, rodwell and baxter just arent old or experienced enough yet. so we need the following; a new keeper, a new right back, a new defensive midfielder, a new central midfielder, a new attacking midfielder, two new wingers, and a new striker. yobo, jags, saha, baines, you can all stay
  10. was awarded a pen against sheff united i think, for intent! a penalty for intent!!!! a penalty for a signed shirt and a pair of preds for the refs lad maybe
  11. enough bad press, deserved, has been written about him, i dont think he really needs anymore or his past dragging up again. i dont think anyone feels sorry for him. we all make mistakes, i know i have, and if im honest ive not changed and ive repeated my mistakes. i think people might want to see joey turn his life round maybe due to their own inability to do the same. just an idea anyway
  12. i dont think we need a DM, two box to box midfielders should be good enough. think vieira/petit. both got up and down in tandem, it seemed to get popular to have a DM, but two hard working fit and strong midfielders will do the trick
  13. i cant believe anyone is questioning yaks form in a team that is simply not providing him with chances. its been a long time since we had a forward who has scored 20 goals in a season in a blue shirt. i am truely shocked. if its hard work we want then lets just bring back marcus bent
  14. downing is over rated due to being left footed and english, but the lad crosses a great ball, he puts our midfield to shame with his delivery from wide positions.
  15. i actually feel a little sad by that Louis. shame really
  16. are you joking? it is real, in Munich. quality work
  17. 250 - i have got to say, thats one of the best posts ive seen on TT for a while. good work
  18. wake up a little, he took off pienaar and fallaini, and one of the subs who came on scored the winner, dont really think moyes can get stick when it won us the game
  19. for me yak and cahill is our most potent strikeforce
  20. legend, but i hope we beat him in 2010 final
  21. i agree, he has scored 6 goals in 6 games, not too shabby
  22. very disappointed in harry. he worked damn hard to get pompy to where they are, and made them a really strong force in the premier league. it must only be money thats took him there, even though spurs are a bigger club than pompy, he got them in a much better state. i honestly thought he would stick with them until the end of his career. very disappointed today.
  23. i said the same thing many a time, until the trouble in town. id let the dabo thing go as im sure that player fight on the training ground everyday, maybe it went a bit far, but the assault in town really brings the player, and his club, into negative publicity and sets a very bad example. two years ago id have loved the lad to be in a blue shirt, but he'd have to do a lot to make me feel that way again
  24. Diarra and Johnson would both be fantastic signings
