  1. If they knew that for a fact Skybet wouldn't be offering 11/4 (although that price was an hour ago, it may have changed).
  2. Zero, apart from a tiny dusting on the cars...but it's forecast for tomorrow and Thurs. Was thinking earlier of all the times I went sledging as a lad....always knew the best places to go and we had enough snow at least once a year (and that was in the south-east, not Highlands of Scotland). Now my lad's twelve and he's been on a sledge once. Winters ain't what they were .
  3. .....and they make Darren Bent 3/1. So very little in it as far as they reckon.
  4. Tottenham striker Darren Bent is a deadline day target for Newcastle and Sunderland - but the striker is holding out for a move to Everton. (Daily Mirror) At least (if that's true) it shows he's more interested in success than money .
  5. Is the fact that huge chucks of the country are under ten feet of snow (none here yet....boo <_< ) going to affect any business today? East Lancs road should be OK for Jo to sign on the dotted line if it's going to happen, but anyone trying to get somewhere for a medical exam is going to be lucky . Could hamper a few moves....Tottenham, for example, is inaccessable. Keane stuck at Liverpool then...Rafa doesn't rate him and now God hates him too .
  6. That's what they seem to be saying.... http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle5635540.ece ...wait 'til it's on the OS though before I believe .
  7. Setanta... Olivier Kapo has pleaded with Wigan Athletic to allow him to leave the club, with the Frenchman launching an impassioned defence of his professionalism and claiming interest from clubs as diverse as Everton, Bolton, Sunderland and Roma.
  8. Tough call...any three from ten. If I had to put money on it I'd go for West Brom, Stoke and Pompey. I'd love it to be Spurs, Newcastle and 'Boro but that won't happen. One of them would be nice though .
  9. Yup. Any sensible argument you might have had Johny was lost completely when you said, "...its funny how contrary you lot can be sometimes" .
  10. He had to get one right eventually though didn't he? Luck or judgement ?
  11. Has no confidence playing in a team that has no collective confidence. Who knows what a bit of Everton spirit would do for him? I'll (as I have in the past) leave the decision to Davey on this one .
  12. This thread is scarily reminiscent of what we all thought the start of the season was going to be like when we saw the fixture list . We'll be favourites to win all four (if we win on Wednesday) but putting that into practice will be no easy thing.
  13. Normal rules don't apply to Sir Alec....Rafa said so .
  14. Tevez. Fergie wants to see him play for the rest of the season to make up his mind whether to sign him but, with Rooney due back, he's not going to get into the United team. You heard it here first .

    Hey

Welcome Stefan! Taxi you can go now....you've outlived your usefulness <_< . You promised we'd never ever lose again and you've let us down. My heart is broken and my faith shattered :sad02: .
  16. Howard for me also....if only he'd stood still for the pen .
  17. Indeed, but they couldn't get past us in open play so hopefully the defence will carry their confidence through to Wednesday. Couple of half chances but we weren't quite up to it today, but United (as I said earlier) are a much better side than anyone else currently. Shame, but no disgrace.
  18. Deffo a "big four" homer. If that was a pen then so was Pienaar's in front of the kop....but what can you do? One rule for them and one for us. And Lescott could have had one there <_< . And now United are time wasting....back handed compliment I guess.

  20. Crap....if Tim had stood still he'd have saved that <_< .
  21. 18.05: "Fabio Capello names his England squad next weekend and surely Phil Jagielka and Joleon Lescott have to be in it?" BBC 5 Live commentator Mike Ingham Getting into it now....Baines and Pienaar looking threatening again.
  22. Only a matter of time if it carries on like this . United are so much better than L'pool, Chelsea and the Arse at the mo.
