Just getting in here before everyone screams about his brace and how we shouldn't have let him go. His first goal was a real stinker, his second a tap-in header from 3 yards out.

He missed an absolute sitter in the first half.

They all count, and he's scored ten goals in his last eight appearances.

Yeah, we argue less when we talk about pizza.

The other give-away to the British abroad is squashing peas on the back of the fork instead of just scooping them up on the front of the fork. Where do such national habits originate?

Another is holding a knife in the right hand for an entire meal that just requires a fork. Why not do what the rest of the world does and hold the fork in the right hand? Or am I being unfair to sinistrals?

so are you counting the FA cup draw (against Palace) but not the FA cup win against them in your 12 games? or including EFL cup?

otherwise ifs just league games then it's 11 games and not 12 since last win againt Burnley just less that 3months ago.

just numbers (months and number of league games) you are saying originally are both incorrect.

the numbers are bad enough without need to over embellishing.

Are you denying we haven’t won in 53 games and 18 months?

Palfy: raise you 10 games and 2 months.

That's such a stereotypical picture of the English abroad: black socks with shorts. :) You can tell the English holidaying in America by that dressing habit alone - along with eating pizza with a knife and fork. All that's missing is the knotted hankie on his head.

He and Onana go and we've got £150m to pay off 777s initial "investment". It's going to happen.

Onana, even though he's young, I agree. In general, though, we should be focused on the future as we strike deals. I'd sell Pickford (and replace with Trafford) before I sold Branthwaite.

You'd think that 777 would want to build on their asset, not tear it down. Having said that, I'm really hoping the rumours about a stealth takeover bid are true.

  6. Trump is already undermining the US administration. The Hungarian premier met with him and not with the US' actual president. The result was the imply they will force Ukraine to surrender and succumb to Russia's invasion with 24 hours of Trump assuming power. Let's all hope that never happens.

If Russia is allowed to win this war, Moldova will be invaded within 6 months. If Trump pulls the US out of NATO, the Baltic states should then become very worried. Finland would also be at risk.

  7. For the Brighton game, no-one (understandably) predicted that Branthwaite would score our only goal. Congrats to Formby, though, for predicting a 1-1 draw. Palfy came out tops for the month of February. Boston Toffee retains his lead for the season and per prediction (although tied, in both cases, to the Wisdom of Crowds.

  8. Marjorie Taylor Greene represents the district in Georgia where I live, and she's a complete disgrace. I'm so embarrassed that residents in this area vote for her overwhelmingly time and again. Her campaign literature is dark, sinister, and paints the US as now being a communist dictatorship, and people believe this nonsense.

He has so much confidence in his own ability to beat his man, and never hides he is constantly looking for the ball, unfortunately his ability is well below his own level of confidence, but I have to say I admire his determination and his willingness to have ago.
I would rather see that than the half hearted player that is McNeil, at least with Harrison you know he won’t go down without a fight, yet McNeil would struggle to reach a whimper, what an absolute joke he has been this season yet he still becomes one of the first names on the team sheet, and for me that highlights the poor decisions that Dyche constantly makes when it comes to player performance, he never seems to see when something or someone isn’t working, so frustrating at times it makes my blood boil.

I'd choose McNeil over Harrison any day. Jack Harrison has been a big disappointment for me.

    Proposals? self explanatory really Matt

Attacking coaches for a start - wouldn't hurt would it?

Maybe not have finishing drill where the keepers let them in (and yes that actually happens to instil confidence)

Make changes sooner and then maybe we wouldn't concede 27 of the 43 we've conceded in the last 20 minutes of a game.  He makes subs when the tempo has already dropped -  too late!

Above all Matt......... when something doesn't work - make changes.

I understand a few got a bit giddy a few pages back as though all was good and Dyche was the manager we've always needed and someone like me saying "we need to look on the market for his replacement now" was subject to laughs.

This manager has huge limitations and a few strengths which should see us possibly be ok....... we should not be persevering with him.  It was as clear as day to a few that he is not a long term manager.

I'm sure we're spending a lot of time practicing set pieces, including corners. A few seasons ago, our corners were predictably terrible. Today, they are the source of several of our goals. More can be done, for sure, regarding finishing in open play, but that's more down to individual players.

Hopefully the 2nd part doesn’t come too fruition, but if it does I have faith that we can still find the points needed to keep us up should we receive another 6 points penalty.
I also think we need to believe that it is a real possibility, and should be planning the rest of the season out on the outcome it’s going to happen.

There's no way the authorities can change the rules and apply two financial penalties in one financial year. Such a decision would surely be overturned. What would make sense is deferring any second points reduction to the next season.
