  1. What Im about to say will probably get a bad reply but here it is anyway. We finished fifth last season and ended the season on a great note and I along with evey other Evertonian on the planet looked to the future with optimism. So what do I do,I wait, like everyone whos reading this im sure, for the quality players to come banging on our door as we certainly seemed to be a team going places.I scan every soccer website as the summer goes on,I read every rumour and every hope of players coming, but nothing.I honestly believe Moyes has money to spend,BUT HERE IT IS LADS,HERES THE PAINFUL TRUTH..Everton are trying to make the transition back to a major soccer team challenging for Europe, and when I say Europe I mean the real Europe,Champions League. So what do we do?We try and attract a higher class of player,we're looking at players now that Utd,Arsenal,Chelsea and the filth are looking at,and the painful truth is these players are choosing to go to bigger and better clubs.Ok ok I said it,I love Everton, always have always will, but if I'm spainish or french or whatever I see Utd,Chelsea,Arsenal and the filth, thats it.Why come to Everton,Im going to get paid less,Im going to a team that ISN'T challenging for trophies, playing in a run down old stadium, with an outside chance of making the UEFA CUP at best!I mean just look at who we have signed,Jacobsen,in all fairness who the hell is this guy!Castillo!!!He was at Blackburn at the start of the summer and they sent him packing but what do we do???Sign him up!!Now before you get totally mad at me while reading this remember that Im saying all these things as an Everton fan on an Everton fans chat site, when Im back in the real world and talking to other soccer fans I fly the club flag as high as I can,but I tell ye guys it truely is demoraling.I dont have the answers for our problems but my best guess is ride out this current situation realisticly finish mid table and battle on from there..as the future,my hopes of one day returning to the top of english soccer are fading with every day and season that passes by.........lets hope Im wrong... about all this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Anyone know when the draw for the carling cup semi's is?
  3. any links to the goals against sunderland lads?????
  4. First off let me say I'm not from the everton area,i'm from Ireland and still living in Ireland.I'm in my 30's now and have been an everton fan since I was 7 years old.I love the club passionately and live and breathe Everton, always have and always will, and when I heard that Everton football club we're thinking of moving from Goodison our home for over a century of football I was disgusted, absolutely sick, but as time slips on and I see the Man utds,Chelseas and dare I say it Liverpools spending millions and these club growing from strength to strength I watch in envy, now in the last few years we have had a bit of success and man it feels good, especially after years of hurt.It has become apparent to me that we have to move from Goodison now,it is a must.We as Everton football club have made the step up now to finishing in the top half of the league and it feels good, very good, but deep down in our hearts we want to be challenging for the title, for the champion league and in todays football climate we all knows its about money, money, money. So here is what we are faced with,do we stay in Goodison and be content with beening an average football club with a couple of good league finishs and the odd good cup run OR do we move from Goodison to a new stadium and become one of the big boys and challenge for the titles and cup that we as Everton football club should really be challenging for?Thats the question it boil right down to that.I mentions early I'm now from the area or even English for that matter so maybe unlike some of you I'm not emmotionally attached to Goodison as an area, but I am emmotionally attached to Everton football club, its in my blood and when they lose,I lose. And its on these feelings and out looks that I feel for Everton football club to compete at the level our evertonian hearts believe it should we have to move. But on a closing note I just want to say what would the possiblity of keeping the Goodison park name for tradition sound...hope I haven't offended or upset anyone by saying all this stuff for me it had to be said.I would love to hear yours views on this.......... oh and watch Bill Kenwrights talking about the move on evertonfc in the free to air section...I think he's right.
  5. get this fucker out of our club..i dont care what we lose on him he doesnt deserve to play for everton....bye bye alco, waster, fatty dutch prick!!!
  6. Just want to say I'm very sad and disappointed to see james beattie leaving.Things didnt work out for James like we all had hoped including himself but I think he is a quality player who has true evertonian attitude he works hard and gives a hundred percent and I was sad to hear of him leaving.I was delighted when we signed him and I was happy after selling Rooney to get James as a replacement. Best of luck James on your new quest, pity it didnt work out with us but you tried hard and thats all you can do in life and I feel thats the everton way,100% percent and the rest is out of your hands, I wish you every success with the blades a team with an honest work ethic also.......................James beatties I along with many evertonians salute you...

  9. lads are ye having a laugh?dont get me wrong i love everton always hve and always will and i'll always fly the company flag but here amounst fellow evertonians i feel i can be frank.....a player of richelme quality is so far out of our grasp we might as well be trying to sign ronaldinho...i hope im wrong he's world class and if we got him it would be a huge step in the right direction but alas its only a dream!

  13. i hate to say it lads but that s..t on saturday made me sick, its typical everton crap,I mean dont get me wrong if Im talking to any other clubs supporters I flying the company flag saying it was just one of those game and all that but here amid evertonians I can voice my angry, bloody disgrace, typical everton choking crap and to see that fat bast..d scoring and celebrating made me want to puck, fat f..ker I hope they win f..k all this year........europe looks like a bridge to far now I reckon.
