Sorry I have not been posting, been rather ill.  Change to medication has improved things but no cure. Hope everyone is well. Don't know how long to go (and don't want to know, just take each day as it comes) her indoors in the same situation.

Bloke picks up a hitch-hiker.  After a few minutes the hitch-hiker says 'do you think its risky picking up a hitch-hiker, I could be a serial killer?'  The bloke says 'No, the odds on there being two serial killers in my car at the same time are astronomical.'

Moved into our new (to us) apartment yesterday in Flackwell Heath (Bucks) to be near our youngest daughter. Move went really well. Brilliant removal men and all the family to help out.  Really like the new place, beautiful gardens all covered  by a management fee, no work! Apartment has good quality fittings and is nicely decorated, so no work there either!  Big weight off my mind.
Got a call from the Consultant and he is going ahead with Radio Therapy. I think it starts in a couple of weeks. Since going on the new tablets (17 per day) I have been eating a lot better and putting a bit of weight back on.

Must be very hard for you both, morphine is sad but really good stuff at the same time, I've spent many contented days on a morphine cloud. Macmillan nurses are superb in my experience, she'll be well looked after; will be thinking of you John.
