  1. Not a great moment & it started with his poor touch however he made a great recovery run to win the ball back. Once he had the ball back he was pressed by 2 players. What the CB closest to him, offers no movement or help in that situation. Whilst it’s not a good moment for Patto, that CB could have dropped 5 yards to offer a simple out ball but didn’t.
  2. I'm watching the game now, at 35 mins when he has just had a moment leading to Belgium's 2nd goal. Horrible defending. England have some serious youth & potential in this squad, shame that a lot of it will get over looked while Southgate is in.
  3. Hopefully that’s his howler out the way for both club & country!
  4. God it’s 10pm Monday night, I’ve had a few drinks & some how managed to watch all of that.
  5. Silly season starting early. https://www.teamtalk.com/news/barcelona-offer-everton-four-players-in-swap-deal-for-80m-star-man-utd-arsenal-hopes
  6. Patto should have been in the team from Christmas. No doubt of that. A run of 11 games(?) without a win anyways, would have been valuable time for him to develop in to the player we all know he can be. His ceiling is higher than anyone we have at RB at the moment.
  7. It’s more the “he had to pick Patterson & picked his mark” comment which interprets it was a planned moment out of motive. Simply, I don’t know all the details & clearly not as privy as Patto is to the ins & outs of the inner running of the club. Patto could have said something completely out of line, it could have been a very minor thing that became a bit more than intended, it could have been an act of bullying. Point is I don’t know exactly but from most reports an apology was given & acceptable, which sounds like it’s dealt with. I’m also not saying it’s okay to slap anyone for the record but there is context to be considered.
  8. So you’re telling me Dyche went to a team dinner with a pre conceived plan to slap Patterson because he identifies him as an easy target amongst the squad to exert some authority? Like, seriously?
  9. Again, without any real conclusive evidence this is just a ridiculous stance to take. No disrespect to you but the only people who have jumped on this are the ones who want Dyche out. Put your feelings to the side for a moment and let the facts comes out about the situation.
  10. I think the whole situation is delicate. The way in which both cases have been communicated however is a farce. Forest’s spending was a blatant breach of FFP in which they brought in a whole new first team and some. If that is not a clear sporting advantage then what is? How was ours initially deemed as 10 points & theirs 6 (4 received after “cooperation”) When it comes to our second charge, I think the premier league have given our representatives a loaded gun to wipe the charges with the inconsistency in their rulings.
  11. Absolutely, I think Dyche’s interview a few weeks ago In which he alluded to our financial position & not needing to sell is to strengthen our case with Jarod. I hope he doesn’t go, another season with him will be massive for us to actually build a foundation.
  12. This is most likely a very minor thing that is being turned in to a mountain mate.
  13. From 0-3 this is a huge result. Luton must be absolutely crushed after this.
  14. I’m greedy & feel we can still catch them A straight red for Solanke in the 90th minute would be nice though.
  15. I’m just going off what seeing the last 18 months here mate, his first time passing and ball control. He is great at getting after flick ons and that but as soon as he gets in space like a traditional #10 I don’t feel that his is strengths.
  16. I don’t agree mate. I’ve said on many occasions I appreciate his physical attributes but I see his technical ability as quite poor.
  17. I was happy Gray left & still am. Late to match busses during a relegation scrap & played the game for himself. Harrison has been a let down, let’s not fall in to the easy trap of blaming Dyche’s “style of play” we have played plenty of attacking football. The problem is our players who support the striker all have huge short comings. Harrison loses the ball in the attacking third so much, Doucoure has little to no technical ability & and McNeil has 1 foot & zero pace.
  18. Edit - it’s a real credit to Coleman, I have so much respect for him as a player & a person. I just don’t want to see him hung out to dry & in a position where he gets any blame for performances if we were to be relegated. I agree on Patto - he didn’t really do anything wrong to warrant being dropped, especially when you compare his performances to that of Young & Godfrey. I am really surprised that he hasn’t been brought in to the squad. Myko is a prime example, the lad looked out of depth in every department & now looks a quite assured PL player. At the very worst case, playing Patto for the remainder of the season will boost his value. Any team promoted to the league would be likely to try & snap up a promising young, international full back with PL experience.
  19. I think with Carlo at Real it will help us as he seems to be big admirer. Hopefully he tells them to get him in at any cost. Ideally I wouldn’t sell him, I think he is better than stones was at his age but if it’s a needs must situations. Personally I think the prices getting thrown around for Onana are mad - he could get there but I think it’s hard for him to show that here.
  20. It is just mental though from a succession/planning standpoint that this is still the case.
  21. The player I thought we were getting vs the player we got is a massive difference. Hard worker yes but technical ability has been disappointing.
