If Mr. Lukaku doesn't end up playing a bit better I think Everton will be the biggest club he ever plays consistently for anyways. It such a shame to see players talk the way he has recently. It's like they would rather just be sold to a "big" club than bother to try to make their club any good. Hasn't scoring goals been Everton's biggest problem lately? Isn't that his area? How about taking a little responsibility for yourself instead of dreaming about the future?

He is definitely a hard worker, definitely an opportunist in the box. Other than that I'd say he doesn't contribute much. There are certainly "intangibles" to players. There are also tangibles of giving the ball away often and then being dirty to try to make up for it. I agree with some of the others on the thread that he would be most valuable off the bench. I saw him compared to Kuyt, but Kuyt always seemed to be great at keeping possession as well as working hard. Haven't seen that out of Naismith.

I know it's been said already, but not that impressed with the performance today. Glad to have the 3 points. A bright point of the game, I thought, was Besic. Seemed to have quite a solid game. Anyone else agree?
