I wanted so much to give it to Patterson he was top draw, but I would consider myself dishonest if I didn’t give it to Pickford he kept us in the game with a string of saves and 1 or 2 worldies. 

Really want to give it to Patterson but I can't not give it to Pickford.

Gana  Onana and Iwobi could be a brilliant central midfield.

Hard to say how it will turn out but on the 30 odd minutes he's been on a silky, steadying and solid influence.  It bodes well.

Why doesn’t McNeil fill me with any kind of confidence. 

Problem is, they have quality to bring off the bench.

That was piss poor but he's been good overall so far.  He does need to switch back on now though.

Patterson having a shocker

This is all about how we are progressing as a team and for me we are looking far more solid, better shape, good work rate. 

Much, much better than expected. They’re pressing but we somehow look better in possession than we have in some time. Very encouraging.

I think over the 45 we actually have. We look likely to create problems when we go forward bar that moment of madness when they hit the post twice we’ve been rather comfortable.

How in THE NAME OF FUCK does the ref not give that push against Onana?!

Iwobi and Onana are working really well together, and Onana looks like he is much more up for the physical battle today.
I like the fact that though we are not getting much possession, we are really trying to make what we have count.

It’s a good window but I still don’t see where goals are coming from. We have two players who have scored a total of 3 goals in five games. It’s not good.
