We are not battling relegation last nights performance was more like we are accepting relegation, I never saw any battling.

Or maybe Lampard is thinking what the F have I done because he’s not actually giving him much game time.

He can’t defend running back to the goal when he’s in the area facing up the pitch he isn’t brilliant but he can hold his own, either Lampard play’s to his attributes which aren’t many or he stops selecting him, otherwise relegation could be a very big possibility.

Problem is the 6 players and Lampard in front of the back 4 can’t legislate for the worst defence in the league.

Tough after match interview coming up for Lampard, got to feel for him let down by pretty much most of the team.

That was always going to be the problem with Frank he’s never experienced like this as a manager or a player.

This is hard to watch they have moment and pace our defence has fuck all.

I’m more concerned about the tactics than the team, are we going to implement a high press or be more deep in our defensive set up, doomed if we don’t doomed if we do, I fear the pace of Spurs front line to be honest give them to much space to play into behind the defenders and Son and Kane will fill there boots.

Watford losing 3-1 to Arsenal which is good news for us, good game to watch some cracking goals.

Clever I’m going to give that ago.

His remit may not be as involved with first team matters as much as Walsh and Brand’s seemed to be, but there are lots of other area’s where he can get involved and improve things, in his interview he didn’t really dwell on the first team as much as he did on other aspects of the club. Also some weeks ago when Lampard was asked the question about the club seeking a DoF he came across very unenthused on the idea, what we have to consider is that some managers see DoF as a challenge to their authority when it comes to decisions they believe are for them to make and no one else, and Lampard comes across as very much being his own man which I like, it will be interesting to see how it all develops. But if we look at past history they could both be sacked by the end of next season

I think the problem with us is that we don’t have the people at the top who are intelligent enough to make the right decision’s when it comes to team matters, but law of averages would suggest that they will get it right sooner or later Thelwell maybe the one but there’s just as much chance he won’t be.

Definitely I can see us beating United and getting something from the Chelsea game, we turn up at home and against the big boys we seem to find that bit extra.
