In Europe he can certainly play a traditional midfield role and he showed that last night IMO. Because he's given more time on the ball his limited control of the football isn't punished as often so he can afford not to have as good a first touch.

Maybe this will see the end of Hibbert finally? It seems Moyes doesn't want to play Heitinga at RB so I'll take pretty much anyone half decent to replace Hibbert tbh.

What's the betting Moyes still doesn't change the side the way he should do (apart from the enforced changes obviously)? What I mean is, I still can't see him throwing Bily in for this game and making BIG changes.

He gets far too excited whenever he gets the ball and then ends up losing it. If he can gain a bit of composure then he could be useful.
