  1. He went unnoticed for most of last nights game, bar two long leg tackles, sound familiar to anyone ?
  2. Haf, I’ve not commented on this since I posted the Mail alleged story, and until I see proper evidence I will take it with a large degree of not believing it, what I don’t really understand is why you are happy to believe the alleged story from a tabloid know for generating shite for the sake of it, yet are hyper critical of many on here who took what came out of the club under BK in good faith. Are they not the same thing?
  3. The argument for keeping Simms increases by the day, missed an open goal in first half, then scores 2 and assists the winner today in FA cup. Come on Beto prove the doubters wrong….. pleeeeeease !
  4. Like a fool I opened this. The first few words I’ve copied and pasted, so there’s not substance imo which is no surprise. Mail Sport has learned Dyche.
  5. I don’t think anyone would agree that they are happy with the last. 10 games, and that Dyche could be doing better, what were asking Hafnia and Palfy is who do you realistically think we could get in now, before our next game, who will be better, and would you accept yet another severance payout, which is part of the mess we’re in. ATM i rate Gary ONeill for what he did at Bournemouth and what he’s doing at Wolves, would he come here, no I don’t think he would with potential relegation, and almost certain dismissal with new owners, until the ownership is sorted we need to crept our position, we may not like it but it’s a reality IMO.
  6. Not sure it’s something to be celebrated tbh
  7. I’d prefer DCL starting, he holds the ball and brings others in to play much better than Beto, bring Beto on with 20 mins to go with his unorthodox style on a tiring defence. Anyhow what do I know, let’s just hope for a much needed result, I don’t want another weekend looking at the other teams around us, hoping they loose.
  8. My lad told me this on the way home on Saturday, 1 error by each keeper, and we could be looking at 9 additional points. Granted if we hit the ball straight at the keeper, he’s going to save it, but that’s not always the case IMO.
  9. Just a quick response. My first game 1970, I was 10 we beat Chelsea 5-0, sat in the main stand with my dad, the only game we ever went to together. fast forward to August 2014, walking past Everton 2, I went in with my 10 year old son, after looking at shirts we went upstairs to see if we get tickets to a game, we got tickets for top balcony upcoming Chelsea game, ooops, 0-2 within minutes, 3-6 full time, had to tell my lad it’s not always this exciting. Now in our 7th year of ST, it’s going to be very emotional leaving Goodison.
  10. Everton 2 W Ham 0 Edit to Beto as DCL isn’t starting
  11. We created loads of chances in the early games of the season, guess who was leading the line, yep Maupay, DCL came back for the Villa game and put his head on the line and got concussion, missed a few more games and has been getting his fitness back, during that time we’ve not provided as many chances, some yes but not as many. I have given him Harrison’s chest skim, Harrison knew nothing about it, it should be recorded as DCLs.
  12. Goodison is a mix of fake and real, they talk about it when you do the stadium tour, I think most PL are now as it gives a better lasting surface.
  13. Club statement below, looks we might be looking to claim more Everton can confirm an Appeal Board has concluded that the points deduction imposed by an independent Premier League Commission in November be reduced from 10 points to six points, with immediate effect. While the Club is still digesting the Appeal Board’s decision, we are satisfied our appeal has resulted in a reduction in the points sanction. We understand the Appeal Board considered the 10-point deduction originally imposed to be inappropriate when assessed against the available benchmarks of which the Club made the Commission aware, including the position under the relevant EFL regulations, and the 9-point deduction that is imposed under the Premier League’s own rules in the event of insolvency. The Club is also particularly pleased with the Appeal Board’s decision to overturn the original Commission’s finding that the Club failed to act in utmost good faith. That decision, along with reducing the points deduction, was an incredibly important point of principle for the Club on appeal. The Club, therefore, feels vindicated in pursuing its appeal. Notwithstanding the Appeal Board’s decision, and the positive outcome, the Club remains fully committed to cooperating with the Premier League in respect of the ongoing proceedings brought for the accounting period ending in June 2023. The Club is still considering the wider implications of the decision and will make no further comment at this time other than to place on record its thanks to our Fan Advisory Board and other fan groups throughout this process, and to all Evertonians for their ongoing support and patience.
  14. He continues to confirm my opinion of him.
  15. Haven’t seen it but if it’s true that’s two goals in 2 games he’s been soft, not good enough, and I don’t think he ever will be.
  16. Only managed to listen to the game, but once again we’re a bag of nerves, to not hold on to the lead was awful, why couldn’t t we have just played simple passes and retain the ball?
  17. Ok here’s my take so far from seeing every home game bar Spurs this season Beto, rough around the edges, not a like for like with DCL, needs to learn how to hold the ball up and bring others into play, can’t fault his enthusiasm. Chimitti, or Chermiti, not seen enough on him as expected, not sure why we paid the money on him when we have Dobbin and had Simms and Cannon, Cannon seemed the more likely to succeed. Young, bought as cover, not happy he’s played so much, hasn’t brought the experience he should have shown, if anything he’s like a headless chicken Harrison, my bright hope, blows hot and cold, I do like his pressing and energy, would like to see him replicate his first season with Leeds in the PL goal wise, his assists are OK Danjuma shows potential but doesn’t know how to be a team player, needs to get his head up and find others in better positions.
  18. We do generally, and then on the rare occasion we snap out of the comatose style and speed up, we did so in the first half on Monday and created a great chance, why we don’t do it more often is my frustration.
  19. I don’t understand why we’re not doing that more now, McNeil, Harrison, Myko, Garner, Patterson, Coleman can put decent balls in, not always of course, and I enjoy seeing that type of play.
  20. Agree 100% he’s the grand master of being a little shit, but clearly a bit precious when it’s aimed at him. I know it’s wrong to troll, and I don’t, but there’s always going to be some dickheads who think it’s cool, players should be able to distance themselves from social media.
  21. I can’t see the bench from where I sit, but that’s not the sign of a team player, and I agree he always seems more concerned at pimping himself up over putting in POM performances, which I don’t think he’s ever won on TT.
