I'd also like to add that this would send out a very clear message to the premiership & beyond (EU) IMO, if we go out & sign Arshavin because he is on paper & reputation wise a very handy player & along with our current squad / situation teams would I believe start taking us very VERY seriously!! I'm not saying we'd go on an go for the league title any time soon BUT why the fuck not!?!?!? If we can get the likes of Arshavin & sign our loan players in the summer along with maybe another 2 good signings (Appiah etc..) the good times really could be upon us!!! BRING IT RIGHT ON!! Exactly Jamie, I really do like the look of that Arshavin, I've got to say..... Plus he can play AM or out & out CF which is exactly what we'd like to have got from Jimmy Mac but really we've had neither IMO!! I like him but Arshavin would be soooo much more potent, IMO!!

Why has the official site got a FADDY SWOOP IMMINENT story dya's think? Its not like the site normally goes anywhere near rumours, in fact they just about get the factual stories up, lol, makes me wonder whether this is a done deal!? I think the supporters will expect him to show his passion on the pitch & therefore its up to him to chnage anyones mind. I think EfC supporters will forgive & forget due to the mirkiness of it all (i.e. we don't know the facts & 3rd party ownership n all that). Andrei Arshavin (Russian: Андрей Сергеевич Аршавин) (born May 29, 1981 in Leningrad) is a Russian international footballer. He is the top player of the Russian Premier League team Zenit St. Petersburg. He can play both as a midfielder and as a striker. Andrey Arshavin graduated from Smena football school.
