Martinez because we played some of the best possession football I’ve seen as an Everton supporter, and Ancelotti he showed us again how to play football when others before him and after him couldn’t.
Besides Dyche who have you been happy with and why?

Fair enough it’s all about opinions but IMHO that first season under Martinez was superb , but once he destroyed the defensive solidity Moyes built it was probably the most tedious football I've ever seen in my life

Unlikely cos Coleman and dcl are the only players that go back that far.

Pretty sure you know the point I was making and ironically they are probably two of the few who do fight for the shirt 🤷🏻‍♂️

I doubt it the players are in a situation where they can’t throw the towel in they have to do it for the fans and themselves.

I don’t think Dyche comes into it other than he selects the team.

Is this the same players that have thrown the towel in under every manager we have had since Moyes?

Whatever he had at half time I hope he has it before kick off next Monday.

Proper Jekyll and Hyde performance from him, was slagging him off in the concourse at half time for a woeful 45 minutes where his body language was awful, he just didn’t look interested but then the second half he goes and puts in a shift like that!

Upper balcony today. Last time there we hammered Newcastle so hopefully I'm good luck.

we need to be at the them straight from the first whistle.

Dominic king saying dyche has lost a few of the players.... don't give a shit - they play for us and shouldn't need smoke bombs and stuff to remind them of that.  We need to survive and the surgery can commence in the close season.

Showing my age now but last time I was up there we lost 6-2 to United and I managed to miss both of our goals. Vowed never to go back and stuck to it!

  6. Feels like a huge day in the future of Everton Football Club, actually it’s probably the start of a huge week, and I can’t say I’m confident

Michael Oliver as Ref doesn’t help and I’ve heard unconfirmed reports Pierluigi Collina & Clive Thomas are coming out of retirement to run the lines !

Still left hanging as to what’s going on, but if you are a fan of the Esk he has climbed down on his 777 views, all though he still thinks they are the wrong choice for the club, and he would do because he doesn’t want to do a complete U-turn, he has started to backtrack on the fact he now thinks that 777 are likely to get the club very soon.
So maybe not as long to wait as we think before new owners take control.

If you’re referring to the podcast he did then I don’t think he has climbed down as such, he still saying they are totally wrong for the club and went as far as to suggest administration would be a better option and he still maintains that he doesn’t think they will get approval . Where he softened his stance is that he is now saying that it’s rumbled on far too long and is damaging the club further so needs resolving one way or the other soon, even if it does mean 777 getting the go ahead

Apart from the going into administration part, which I think would be a disaster, I pretty much agree with him

Controversial opinion: he works hard, but he’s not clinical enough.

We need a creative or opportunistic striker given our poor squad.

I think it would be a lot more controversial if you said he was clinical. Anyone who has ever seen him play will know that he has all the tools to be a top class centre forward ( work rate, touch, attitude, physicality, speed, positioning) except for finishing

Do you not think that is impact coming off bench is more because he is replacing players with less quality or something else?

There is the argument that when he comes off the bench he’s fresh and the opposition are getting tired so that gives him more of an advantage than if he started.
I really rate him compared to others who play in his position, he’s not built with speed and athleticism and can be slow to chase back when things break down, but what he does much better than anyone else is travel with the ball, makes space for others by attracting more 2-3 players in trying to dispossess him, and then crucially releasing the ball at the right moment without having it taken off him.
I believe it was no coincidence that when he came on that we took control of the game, he’s the player with the most ability and vision in the team, and it shows that much even Stevie Wonder sees it, the only problem is we need Sean Dyche to see it.

I don’t think it’s anything to do with who he is replacing it’s Gomes himself who doesn’t seem to have the same impact when he starts. Don’t know whether that’s because he comes off the bench he is fresh coming up against tired players or what

With regards to Dyche I think it’s pretty clear he does see it , he brought him back into the fold and has constantly talked him up as a quality player who he wants to utilise more if he can stay fit

Jemma is one of the main organisers of 1878s.

    And what?

Got a lot of time for the work 1878 do but surely this is completely at odds with her comments, they are supposed to be about uniting the fans and creating a better match atmosphere and her spouting shite like this is hardly helping

What makes her think she is better than everyone else and who the fuck is she to decide who can go to away games?

What are you going on about now?

Club is on its knees, the BU were on the case for the longstanding cultural toxicity and deceitful reporting of its operation which have again come to light and you are deflecting on to someone we don't even know chatting shite about tickets?

She was a mouthpiece for the BU and I’m on about her warped sense of entitlement

This is typical of her, a self appointed super blue who thinks she has more right to watch Everton than everybody else because she has more credits

She is slagging off the away end at Bournemouth and saying most of them didn’t deserve to be there because she doesn’t recognise them

Her attitude boils my piss, anyone prepared to travel all the way down to Bournemouth to watch that shower of shit deserves to be there just as much as she does

They should be applauded for their commitment not ridiculed just because they are not in the click so can’t get tickets for every away game
