Anyone else concerned about this deal - reckon there a plenty of back and forward discussions over personal terms, hope it is not a case of "leaves due to not being able to agree terms", surely he would not fly in if we were not close to meeting his needs.

I did not say £22m AND Onouha, as Onouha would only be a loan. Being realistic the only reason we have not accepted the Lescott offer is cos of the situ with Jags. Ergo, if we have could get short term cover as part of the deal we may be willing to let him go. Is Onouha going to get a game for you lot before Jan - I doubt it

I agree mate - or at least give us the £22m and Onouha on loan til Jan or for the season. Don't for a second think that will happen, their offer will be straight cash - if there is another offer that is! Wish we could just move on!

As much as I rate Lescott and hate to break up a solid back 4, I reckon 10m plus Johnson and Richards would be good business.

Spot on Romey.....Hibbo is just not going to cut it...lost count of the number of times it was played to him and he humped it down field. Also think Baines shows what kind of full back we need a the club....what a crackin début...very solid.

Being sceptical I hope Yak does'nt end up like another Amokachi!! Positively; this season will have seen us add 5 new signings (incl Manny!) who would grace many a first team....add that to Howard, Lescott, Joey, Arteta, Cahill and AJ and we are flyin....coyb
