  1. If only Bill remembered to put his name as IVOR INVINCIBLE (one for LMA fans).
  2. Cancels out, he gives away as many chances as he makes. He shouldn't be making a living on a football pitch.
  3. John Heitinga ‏@Johnheitinga I'm doing a live Twitter chat tomorrow @ 2p.m till 3p.m Send in your questions with #AskJohn
  4. Didn't he win TT player of the year because he accumulated the most motm's? Which is the fairest system imo.
  5. He's got nothing in it. Only rated because he went to Spurs and the papers loved Redknapp. He shouldn't be at a premier league club imo.
  6. Will do now. I'd just copy and pasted my reply from another thread.
  7. If we signed him (and Charlie Adam) I'd find another team. He should follow Keith Andrew to the championship or go to Scotland.

    Villa

I wouldn't blame the last 2 years. MO'N wasted a fortune on motd inform players and some utter fodder, the implosion was always coming. Paul Lambert is a good manager though and if he managers to keep Villa up I can see him rebuilding well over a few years like Moyes has done with us.
  9. 1. Congratulations on your opening day win against Manchester United, But Everton have become well known as slow starters but coming on strong in the second half of the season. Why do you think that is and can you be more consitant this season? Usually we lose one of our key players and bring no one in to freshen things up. This year we have lost Rodwell but he wasn't a key player and we have strengthened well. 2. David Moyes has continued to do a fantastic Job with very limited finances avaliable, he has also managed to hold on to his big name players for the most part, what do you think his secret is? Overall his record against the old top 4 isn't pretty reading and the lack of silverware is worrisome. Yet he is a reliable head to ensure a 5-8 finish, but with a few more risks he could be great and we would be challenging for European positions. He needs to step up his tactics imo he has stagnated. Although the recent performances against Man U are a big step forward as well as his substitute decisions last season. 3. Everton claimed the bragging rights after finishing above Liverpool last season, and i can see you doing it again this season but more convincingly, do you feel the balance of power could be shifting in Liverpool? Liverpool have been a poor side for a long time, they were lucky to finish in the top half this year. 4. How do you feel about Aston Villa as a Club and our Fans? I hate Villa tbh, rob points off us every time and got far to many plaudits under MO'N. I don't know many Villa fans, but think it is fickle how some wanted Levy out (we have the same problem from our fans in the form of the BlueUnion) and didn't give McLeish a chance. 5. Aston Villa lost in a close game with West Ham on the opening day of the season but many Villa Fans are were happy to see an improvement from the way we were playing last season, and under Paul Lambert we are once again united in support of our Manager. How do you think Villa will do this term and over the next few seasons? It will depend ont he amount of investment, I can see it being a long time before Lambert can fix the team, much like Rodgers at Liverpool. Petrov is a massive loss (the only Villa player I like, hopefully he will be better soon) and without him I can see Villa struggling again. 6. Charles N'Zogbia and Stephen Ireland are two very talented Footballers without a doubt, but have constantly underperformed during their time with Villa, what are your thoughts on these Players? Over-rated. Villa paid over the top for N'Zogbia who brilliant in flashes, but not consistent enough. Ireland can be a thorn in the side but again he isn't consistent, reminds me of Lee Hendrie. 7. Who are your picks for the top four and bottom three this season and why? 1. Chelsea if the players gel straight away. 2/3. Man U and City squads don't look much stronger than ours other than fire power, but refs will make sure they get the little help they need. 4. Everton, optimistic but achievable. Pending a good start, Jela's goals, and more creativity/points from the bench as Barkley, Gueye, Mirallas and Anichebe try to impress. Think we will pick up more points from last years promoted sides as well as the 3 who have just come up. 18.Villa , should have went down last year. Without Petrov and Cuellar I feel for Guzan and Given, Lambert has a huge job to stop Villa from getting bullied and able to control the tempo of a match, and I dont think Holman will be good enough to do the job. 19. Wigan, I always berate the tipsters for being media lovers when they say 'little' Wigan aren't good enough, but losing Dembele and Rodgella is a massive blow and they have no real replacements. Although if Anichebe goes there, they will have a fighting chance. 20. Reading, simply not good enough. 8. Who are you looking forward to play the most and why? Man United has always been my favourite, the atmosphere at Goodison is unreal for it (unfortunately I weren't there yesterday). When we beat them 1-0 Ferguson with a header it was indescribable. In the past Newc and Leeds were great games, and more recently City because we dick them and their fans fecking hate it. 9. Which player do you think will cause Villa the most trouble during the match? and which Villa Players are you concerned about? Fellaini, although if Osman is in the middle you will be in for a footballing treat. Fortuna is always Villa's best player against us. Given always does well also. 10. Finally, Match predictions! Everton usually deserve to win but Villa tend to sneak it, so probs 2-1.
  10. Moyes prefers one with Distin as he's a left footer.
  11. One of the Belgium's on here mention that the transfers were dodgy as the higher ups for Standard had connections with Benfica.
  12. Greedy bastard! On all that money and dragged his feet for a loyalty bonus even though City will still be paying half his wages.
  13. I'd put Barton in the same category of cunt as Bellamy, Neville, and Savage. They want to win and the media does its best with the propaganda to make everyone hate them. All 4 have now made strides against that reputation as the TV and paper media have less power. Then you have the proper horrible cunts like Terry, Gerrard, and Rio (disgusting, yet fitting, that all 3 have captained the national team) who are disgusting selfish creatures.
  14. It's the Vidic isn't fit, and Carrick excuse I'm sick of. Sure Fellaini ran their defence ragged only a couple of months ago. I'd of preferred Rio to play as he is dog wank, especially at Goodison. SAF's moans of us playing long balls are pathetic, as he fails to mention that once it was up the pitch Fellaini played short passes to Osman Pienaar and Jela, also when are other outlet Baines got involved we played some really nice high tempo stuff. Much better than being forced to the wings and crossing into an empty box. The referee moan is laughable, I couldn't believe the bitter twat had the blind-sided wino vision to say the ref was influenced by the fans... otherwise they'd of finished with less than the 12 men they started with. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/aug/21/premier-league-manchester-united-everton

    Villa

That's not the problem against Villa, we tend to turn up and do everything, but fail to find the net more than Villa, who have less of the play and somehow manage to sneak it. They're luckier than Liverpool, deserved to be relegated last season.

    Villa

We should beat them comfortably, but with their luck against us they could sneak it.
  17. Good touch and vision, him and De Gea are the only 2 United players who showed up.
  18. Immense performance, Fellaini had 3 men and a referee on him and United still couldn't stop him.
  19. Fellaini De Gea having a great game for United otherwise we'd be running riot. The officials not doing to bad for them either
  20. *Cough, cough!* Tony Hibbert. Agree we need to freshen up the set-pieces. Not with an overweight one-footed central player.
  21. That's the same suit he wore to Man City. Hard to tell if it's fotoshopped as rumour has it he only owns the one.
  22. I hope not. In his 9 games against us he has 5 goals and 4 assists and never been on the losing side 7 wins 2 draws .
  23. Sorry had nipped over the shops at half time. Only just seen this. I watched it online, a few bookies had it on as well.
  24. I agree. If this is what we've done, the borrowing will now be at a lower rate as our revenue stream has had a significant increase. So it makes sense to pay off old new with new debt at a lower interest rate. This is the basics of managing cash flows, the type of stuff Dom Littlewood goes on about.
  25. Yet to see him on the ball, been all the Netherlands since I put it on
