  1. agree with you there Rob. It wouldn't bother me if a black person called me white boy but the intention to offend from that person is still the same as vice versa
  2. Good links Ken but I wonder sometimes how much of an impact of the comment this nobhead Boris Johnson made has had on our two football clubs in holding a minutes silence for people like Ken Bigley. I'd like to say none
  3. I made a post at the beginning of the season slating Hibbert and genuinely thought he was our weakest link. Have my views changed? Yes. I think Hibbert has had his best season even if he hasn't played as often as previous seasons. However I'd still keep Jacobsen to see if he can claim the right back berth. Another years loan would be ideal seeing as he's spent most of the season on the sidelines. I still don't see Hibbert good enough to help take us forward but I'd be quite happy to see him in the final line up
  4. It doesn't surprise me that the fa panel would do that to us. It's not the first time they've done it to us. It wouldn't surprise me if they take Artetas second goal away from the Sunderland game
  5. This hurts more than the derby
  6. Well I'm in my thirties now and the old minds playing tricks Thought I might have got the round wrong later but thought the results were right but you get what am saying
  7. That's a team capable of beating most premier and european teams
  8. Don't know if any of you peeps can remember but back in 2001, the shite played Roma in the Uefa cup semi final at Anfield having won the 1st leg at Roma. The game was 1 each when Roma were awarded a blatant penalty which the ref give. Would have made it 2-1 Roma, 3 each on aggregate but no sooner had the ref pointed to the spot when Gary McCallister said something to the ref. God knows what he said, doubt even a lip reader could tell you but the next thing the ref gave a corner. Never seen anything like it before and only once since, when nobhead Clattenberg changed the yellow to a red after an approach from the diving twat Gerrard. Amazing
  9. No, he's the best manager we've had in 20 years. If we had a blank chequebook, not sure if he'd be the man but he should (hopefully will happen asap) be given the chance
  10. I know were you're coming from but that would apply to the better teams who are going for the league and will occasionally have a bad day but will still come away with a win cos they have so many players on the pitch or subs bench who just need one attempt. With us we're lacking quality and don't really have enough match winners to carry it on. We've not played a decent full game since the last game of last season against Newcastle
  11. Fuck me. Great 2nd goal for Saha. Completely undeserved but I aint complaining
  12. So one dimensional and predictable. As much as I want us to score, it would be an injustic
  13. There's loads of resturants there mate. Probably best to just walk into town and see what takes your fancy. The 'Living Room' is nice but not cheap. Other than that there's all sorts, Indians, Italians, Chinese, and general restaurants. There's some restaurants in the rows aswell which you could quite easily miss.
  14. Can't believe what I'm reading here. This is a fella who stubs cigars out in a young kids eye. Kicks shit out of a young lad on a night out and we've all seen the clip of it. A 16 year old lad, probably just being a bit gobby and as a result got his teeth literally smashed out. Ye okay, footballers fight all the time on the training ground and when you think there's a squad of 20+, you're not going to get along with all of them but to take it to the extremes he did was way way OTT Even when the police were hunting down his brother, he did a press statement to encourage his brother to come forward and hand himself in. The right thing to do. Yes of course it was so why did he have to include in the message to his brother that they grew up seperately. Did his brother not all ready know this. To me it was a statement to say to everyone else 'look we didn't grow up together so don't tarnish me with the same brush'. Fuckin' pathetic The thing that really annoys me is that after every time he does things he says the same things i.e. I'm gonna be a changed man and a good role model for kids etc etc etc he does it again. Gotta feeling some people here are being sympathetic to him cos he's a local lad but if he was from somewhere else would the same sympathies still exist. Doubt it. As for being in a blue shirt, Moyes didn't want him. Not for his footballing skills cos he is a good player but do you really want someone whinging to the press about his team mates every other week. Worked for Roy Keane cos he was a godlike figure at Old Trafford and the fans agreed with him. Has never worked for Joey
