  1. Seems like Diniyar gave a decent game yesterday. Unfortunately I didn`t watch. Any opinions on his play?
  2. No Yesterday, he told in his interview he would never take 63 in Everton. This number is closely connected with Lokomotiv period in his career and he wants a new number here in Blues though doesn`t have any preferences.
  3. Anyukov, Bystrov, Dzagoev, Torbinsky, Denisov, maybe Kerzhakov. Each of them will probably cost more than 9 millions though.
  4. A couple of more funny google translations of articles from Russian web resources, http://translate.google.ru/translate?prev=hp&hl=ru&js=y&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sovsport.ru%2Fgazeta%2Farticle-item%2F344187&sl=ru&tl=en&history_state0= http://translate.google.ru/translate?prev=hp&hl=ru&js=y&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sports.ru%2Ffootball%2F27665470.html&sl=ru&tl=en&history_state0=
  5. As I already mentioned he is not a proper winger who plays out wide. Even if his position is on the left wing he always tends to move to the ceneter and acts like a play maker. Sometimes his position is simply the one of a central attacking midfielder. Everybody says Dinyar is a very sociable, unconflictive person. Never heard he had any disagreements with Managers, Teammates or supporters. On the contrary everybody thinks highly of his personal qualities.
  6. He speaks English as far as I`m concerned. I know for sure he spoke with Moyes over the phone just before signing. Anyway even if his English is far from being perfect at the moment he is definetely the kind of person who will learn it quickly. The important thing he is that he was born in Moscow and did quite well at school (which is a rare thing for a footballer, but Diniar`s case)
  7. Some Bill`s photos can be found here if anybody is interested http://www.sports.ru/photogallery/27441428.html
  8. Thanks, doing my best. Exuse my poor English please. "It`s been a hard days night" and almost midnight here. Regarding your question. To be honest I`m not the type of a person who can be called a devoted supporter (appart from Russian National team of course). I don`t have a club even in my own country that I really support, but there are some I like and try not to miss their games (loko the previous Diniyar`s club is one of them). They same with English league. I will definetely watch Everton`s game with huge interest and will care for the club much more now, but there are other clubs where Russian players are not. I`ll keep an eye on them also. Regarding right back. I`m not sure I got the question, sorry. Are you asking if there`s some right wing defender in Russian league who can be really helpful for Everton? Is so I can tell you one name. Alexander Anyukov from Zenit, St Petersburg. Great right back.
  9. Average ability. Not the best striker, but has his 10 goals a season.
  10. Spasibo! Regarding setting in a foreign country. No one can be sure about that of course, but I think among all the Russians who have come to England lately he should have less problems with daily life setting. For instance compared to Pavluchenko or Zhirkov (who are good players but a bit "too Russian" if you see what I mean) Bill is very sociable, friendly person - earopian type of a person I should say. As for football specific matters. I do watch premier league. Also hard to say, but I`m positive. The important thing to understand is that Bill still has a lot in potential. He is not a "ready made" star yet who demonstrates superb performances every game, but he can be. If we take simply physical power he is probably not among the best. But you know, in Russia before Arshavin came to England a lot of people were saying he wouldn’t be able to play in English league successfully because he is not fit enough. Only with 4 goals to Liverpool these talks faded out. The same story with Dimiyar. Hard to say if he is strong enough, but he has magic in his feet when he is in his best shape.
  11. That`s a bit too big question if taken seriously. Briefly speaking he is very good at the ball, perfect dribbling, passing, general understanding of the game. Not so good when defending. Not great physically. Common opinion - one of the mopst talented players of Russia but lacked motivation a bit the last 1.5-2 years. He definetely needed a change and he got it. I expect him to improve in new surroundings. He is also quite intellectual. I think he will start speaking English quite fast - which is usually a problem mong Russian players. Please, ask more specific.
  12. As somebody already stated here, he is definitely not a winger. At least in classical meaning of the word. In Loko and Russian National team he took a position between the center and left wing. Even if he plays as the left midfielder he always tends to move to the center leaving the flank for a defender behind him (in russian team - Zhirkov)
  13. Good question as off the ball play is probably not among the strongest point of him unfortunately. He offers himself quite well to partners when his team possesses a ball, but when the team is defending the common opinion which I share is that he lacks motion and aggressiveness. Overall he is much more of an attacking player, his defending ability needs to be improved.
