I have watched this kid for a while now and he would be my number one target for January or the summer. He is going to be a top quality player, he has pace, vision, skill, superb delivery and helps out with goals. If anyone watched PSV v Feyenoord game last night would have witnessed him at his best. I think he would be the ideal replacement for Pienaar down that left moving Mirallas back to the right but he will command a high fee i think in the region of £15m upwards. I would love us to go big and spend that on him he would be a gem of a player and only getting better, if we are talking potential with Lukaku then this kid is another "diamond" we could do with. Think we are lacking in the wide areas and screaming out for someone with a bit of guile and pace, Mcgeady isnt going to be the answer, Pienaar is on the decline and for me as much as I like Oviedo he isnt going to be the top class player we need to push on. Mephis Depay would send out a serious message that we mean business and he would give our attacking play another dimension. In January I would like to see us bring in 3 players (unlikely) but these are the areas IMO i think we need to get in Jan or summer: 1 - Memphis Depay (LW) 2 - Kasper Schmeichel (GK) 3 - Simon Kjaer (CB) There are a few contracts running out aswell, Schaar looks a quality young defender like Stones but think he will go to a "big" club, Delph would add some energy i think we lack, Reid is a quality centre half (replacement for Distin).

I pretty much agree with that, I feel our squad depth is pretty much the best it has been for a long time. I think he will bed in a few youngsters this season like Garbutt, Kennedy, Browning and McAleny which will again provide some more depth fro cup games and Europa. I was working out our teams for a league game and Europa and i feel it is pretty strong on both fronts. I agree we need a minimum of 2 new players and I believe like you it's a wide man and another striker (loan perhaps). I would like to see a more direct, tricky winger with pace like Gerry to come in to give us that option off the bench and a striker to cover Rom when he is off form or needs a rest (as he is still 21). I would like us to try and sign Kagawa, he is a class player and i feel would flourish under Martinez and feel he would thrive as a number 10, when Barkley is rested. For me, i dont see too many changes in the teams in the Europa and League games just one or two to freshen it up, here are my teams using the squad: First Team (League) Howard, Coleman, Jags, Distin, Baines, McCarthy, Barry, Kev, Barkley, Pienaar, Lukaku. 2nd Team (Europa) Howard, Coleman, Stones, Alcaraz, Oviedo/Garbutt, Besic, Osman, Mcgeady, Naismith, (insert new wide man), Kone. Then we have the kids to come in like Browning, Duffy, McAleny, Ledson, Kennedy, Stanek, Lunstrum The squad is looking bright but it needs 2-4 players whether its loans or not just to be able i feel to be challenging on all fronts.

I also said to take 'my predictions' with a pinch of salt as they could be bullshit and I was only passing on what I heard. This is not a prediction, its a FACT he is due back with Chelsea tomorrow so that's why I reckon it will be more clear tomorrow. I AM NOT SAYING HE WILL SIGN WHATSOEVER. he is not due back until tomorrow so I fully expect it all to kick off from then, pretty sure he will leave Chelsea but whether it is to join us I am not so sure. I hold some confidence he is going to join us as it seems the most logical place for him to come but you never know. If the fee is £20m as banded around it is an absolute steal in perspective of some fees being paid for lesser (IMO) players. Look at the like of Deeney being quoted as £10m, McCormack £11m, Chambers £16m, Origi £10m, i could argue the majority of Liverpools buys are over-priced and that Lukaku would offer alot more value for money but that is for a different topic. I really hope we do sign him and hopefully it would be before the end of this weekend so we can focus on other targets if he decides against joining us. I believe that now he is back at Cheslea tomorrow it will be decision time and Martinez will not hang around for him much longer as he knows we are desperate for a no 9.

Galloway is already in Austria with the kids. Byrne is meant to be a promising striker but not seen much of him. Galloway will become a good player (one for the future). Barry was always a goer and I am happy with that, Caulker for me would be a great signing, him and stones for the future is solid
