Ffs Ross just shoot!
-
Kone needs to come on to give us a central threat.
-
Mulumbu should be sent off for his 2nd booking there.
-
Oh Gerry, have to get that on target. Great build up play.
-
Gana has been unreal again... Gerry and Barkley both getting in good positions with no end product.
Cleverley the only one pushing Gana for MOTM at the moment.
-
From what I saw we were just all huff and no puff. Plenty of opportunities to open them up wasted.
Valencia has done well enough in linking the play but he offers no threat whatsoever at the moment.
Lennon just isn't a player for Koeman's system, RFM is clearly uncomfortable at LB (surprise surprise) but the rest have been decent.
-
What happened, my stream has just gone?
-
Weirdly I'm in the same boat Haf. Love the fantasy NFL but struggling to support a team and not just the players!
None of them are jumping out at me.
-
Barkley should have hit that when he had the chance! Should have scored too.
-
Gerry needs to get the ball in the box quicker. Valencia has looked on his heels a lot compared to Lukaku in the same situation.
Cleverley is doing well, surprisingly.
Funes Mori on the other hand...
-
I think we have started well enough. Must say Valencia looks sharp.
-
Because he had no choice. He was offloaded to the lowest level. It was shite how he was treated.
Really? We had just brought in Lukaku, Kone and Gerry (I think). He needed games to learn but didn't want to go on loan to get those games.
Unsurprisingly he has improved from playing games on a regular basis.
The club were trying to do what was right for the player but he didn't want to do it so he was released/sold. I don't see how the club can be faulted on this occasion.
-
I honestly think he will take it more seriously than this.
Robles
Coleman Williams Funes Mori Baines
Gueye (Macca/gibson/cleverly/Davies, or whoever is fit!)
Lennon Deulofeu Mirallas
Valencia (lukaku injury, otherwise Rom)
I'd keep Lennon on the bench and start Barkley with the other two.
I'd also start Kone if Lukaku isn't fit.
-
4 goals so far this term, albeit 3 in 1 game. Hes looked likely to score in the previous games too and will no doubt be around the 20 figure mark come the end of the season providing he stays fit.
His link up play has improved vastly since koeman came in and with bolasi getting in cross after cross im sure he will provide lots of assists on top of the two he has so far.
I haven't seen any change in him to be honest under Koeman (style wise).
That was an area that Martinez improved him dramatically but it took a couple of years to get there. I think Koeman will try and make Lukaku more dominant and physical and to use him as the spearhead of the attack more than before.
-
He didn't do anything special today, wasn't bad and wasn't good either.
He had the centre backs worried though as they were much more aggressive when Valencia came on.
-
Good luck Valencia, prove the majority of us wrong!
-
Gueye is unbelievable.... what an engine!
Great tracking from Ross to allow him to get the tackle in too. Exactly what we want to see!
-
Ross was onside there, should have been 4
-
To be fair we scored lots of goals from losing / drawing positions last year... the problem was we conceded again 10 seconds later!
-
I want it be given to Lukaku for my dreamteam! He should at least get an assist!
I have Negredo as well and his has been given as a Stek OG which tells you that it was a foul!
-
At least the ref was consistent!
-
Get in Barry! Great response... you can see that the decision really riled the players!
-
Shocking decision by the ref but it's weak as piss from Stek!
-
He's played one bad game in five and the world is falling apart. I can't believe half the junk I've read in here. The lad needs a bit of help from his manager, which I'm sure he'll get, then be back on form. All of our other attacking players have blown hot and cold all through their Everton careers, why do we expect Ross to be any different? So many people writing off what is one of our most gifted players, and one who for the first time we don't have to sell and doesn't want to leave. I wonder what difference it would make to Ross if the whole fan base actually got behind him and gave him a break once in a while?
Spot on!

What a ball that was from Holgate!
