  1. That was woeful,Moyes is leaving himself open to being slaughtered with that set up. I really hope that was a blip from Arteta but to my mind he hasnt done it yet this season, hope that new fat contract means he hasnt taken his eye off the ball. Maybe bar Fellaini no one outta the starting 11 seemed too bothered about the way the game was going, nobody busting a gut, nobody shouting and roaring, nobody taking the game by the scruff of the neck and shaking it into life, nobody keeping the ball on the ground and playing some football, oh and nobody on the sideline doing a thing about it.
  2. But for Beckford and Hibbert???????????? So Osman Fellini and Heitinga still all playing outta position
  3. Some strike now Moyes earn your money or the natives will become restless
  4. No balance to the side, Fellini Heitenga and Osman playing out of position, Beckford not getting a look in but to be fair he isnt getting much service. It could be another long afternoon. Fellini getting very frustrated i sense a booking coming.......
  5. Unbelieveable had just paid my mate when Cahill scored, best feeling ever was getting the 50 back after Arteta scored(draw no bet). Super stuff but dont let it take away from the obvious failings on show today.Theres a danger they are overlooked after the result
  6. Im guessing its going to be Neville and Beckford for Felli and Jonny and that will cue a page of abuse about what a tactical clown Moyes is. Truely terrible if it was to be those switches
  7. FFS great ball in but Dustbin is 2 feet deeper then the rest when the ball is played wide to Nani, theres a line of 4/5 acroos the 6 yard line and he is deeper then the rest with no idea whats happening behind him
  8. Simple answer is Distin, he had no idea where Fletcher had gone once Fletcher got in behind him.Time for Jags and Jonny to be given a chance but Moyes wants a left footer to play left sided centre half so we may be stuck with him
  9. I know most on here would have no interest in league of Ireland football but for any who may have or just have an interest in a football story here is a quick summary of how a fan can have it all snatched away by the bang of a gavel. As i write this i am awaiting confirmation that Cork City Football Club(The Rebel Army) has been wound up in the high court. After winning the league and then the cup in successive seasons dispatching Malmo Djurgardens ( both Sweden) NEC Nijmegen(Holland) Apollon Nicosia(Cyprus) and many more from european competition the day has arrived when it will all cease to be. Having won the league the club was purchased by Arkaga a british based investment firm who promised it all and delivered nothing but administration within a year. The administrator sold the club to a local business man Tom Coughlan who it turns out is the greatest gangster ever to walk the planet. Two cheques bounced on the revenue, banned from all football activities by the FAI,Owes over €1.2m to local creditors and still claims the world is wrong and he is right. CCFC sold Kevin Doyle,Shane Long(scored cup winner against the shite),Roy O Donovan(Sunderland) Dave Mooney(banging them in for Charlton) David Meyler(sent off recently for Sunderland) and many more to England.Where did all the €s go? its along story but Arkaga ran with what they got and so its presumed did Coughlan. During Arkaga's reign a fans group FORAS friends of the rebel army society was set up to try and safeguard the future of the club, for the last 3 months the group along with two investors have being trying to buy the club off Coughlan last night time ran out when CCFC was refused a license to play in the LOI.Today at 2 a judge was due to wind the club up and hopefully issue perjury preceedings against the owner as will as instructing the fraud squad to investigate. As for FORAS well while trying to buy the club they also applied for a 1st division license for a new club, that was granted last night so out of the demise of CCFC comes a new yet unnamed club 100% owned by the fans. This really is only 2nd prize as no one wanted to lose the club but eventually it was the only way. Dont be surprised if the start of the season here is delayed by court injuctions and the like. I guess the message is be careful what you wish for, to a small locally based Irish side Arkaga were like a Saudi billionaire. But because of them CCFC is no more.Ye may want investment but it aint always what it seems. http://www.forastrust.ie/
  10. No i meant for the incident with the greek!Felli has seen him coming and gone over the top of the ball to do him as he went to do felli. If he was sent off i couldnt argue just my opinion.
  11. I've been a lurker around here for along time so im going to break my duck and post. Today was a big disappointment imo, right from the management down.Fellini should have been sent off but once he isnt we should have taken control.Let the ball do the work, work the channels, hog the touchlines, spread the game, make them work thier socks off.But we didnt y? Saha got a knock from the greek after about 10 mins, got no free kick threw his arms in the air,had a hissy fit and was seen no more.Someone said he got no ball but i didnt see him show for too many or work the channels looking for the outlet ball.Moyes has a fear of taking a chance hence Arteta and not 442 after the sending off. He could have went 442 and forced them onto the back foot but his conservative nature came back to haunt us again.I dont believe he empowers his players to play thier game against percieved better opposition. The Arsenal game will haunt him forever more, even against the likes of Sunderland,2 up 20 mins gone and we are wondering how many we will get instead Moyes is telling the midfield to sit in and stay put with an hour left.Arsenal would get 8 we settled for 2 FEAR does funny things to grown men
