why would they offer such a high amount for a player who has been out for 11 months and still not proved that he is back to his best and is also 2 years older (therefore a smaller sell on value) It would cost a lot more than 7 million for bystrov he is almost a definate in russia's starting 11 your talking more about the 14 mill mark. completely agree also tenaciousj about ledley he would be a good squad player and like jayc said we could always sell him later on for a few million the same with beckford. i personally think that we should start making our own money if were not going to get taken over by a billionaire.

Just thought I'd point something out in 15 games he has scored 5 goals (i know not great) whilst at the same time contributed 11 assists. So for all you yak bashers you need to understand he has been involved in 16 goals this season after just playing 15 games. also 5 of these games have been sub appearances. thanks
