  1. At that price in today's market I'd be happy to take him. We need strong depth.
  2. Likewise. I'm pleasantly surprised with how the season has started.
  3. I think he's the same height at Jags (6'0").
  4. It would be a good loan move sure, but I'd prefer something permanent. 30k is definitely not a bad wage to pay in today's market for a player of his quality though.
  5. The dressing room bit stuck out for me. I always got the feeling the other players enjoyed having him around.
  6. After reading some comments about him on some other sites I'm really hoping this goes through. Highly rated by some watchers of Serie A, and they think the price is cheap for a player of his caliber.
  7. I'm not anti-Hart, but the prices for him being discussed are massively inflated in my opinion. I don't think there's a big difference in terms of ability between him and Begovic. ...Now watch us go out and get Begovic for 25m.
  8. It's true what they say. You don't choose Everton; Everton chooses you.
  9. I think he lost ambition under RM. I think we'll see a different player this season.
  10. I agree. I prefer Begovic personally.
  11. Wow -- that happened quick. Good luck to him.
  12. Condolences, Steve. Hope you have a safe trip back.
  13. Yep -- Pretty much my thoughts on Gibson.
  14. I don't think you've watched Yedlin in awhile. He has massively improved since playing at Sunderland.
  15. Glad to hear he's getting a little bit of a redemption there. Now he just needs to score a couple more.
  16. I wish we would go for Yedlin. Apparently going to Newcastle for 3mil. He would be a good understudy/cover to Coleman.
  17. Hart would be an upgrade but it's not worth it for his price -- especially if it's just a loan. He's better than average, but his wages/price tag are greatly inflated. As far as which leagues are better... Spain and Germany have some better teams (Barca, both Madrids; Bayern, BVB), but England has the most parity by far. Teams in other leagues can afford to rotate their squads regularly and put more focus on European competition. I'd be curious to see how injuries come into play since the English League is far more physical.
  18. I'd rather keep Stek than pay those wages. He has been great in his first two matches anyway. I doubted him at first, but I'm coming around.
  19. I'm loving all of the behind-the-scenes moves that the club has been making this year!
