Not transfer rumors damn it. Anything about fucking Belgium.

Jean Claude Van Damme, Audrey Hepburn, Hercule Poirot, Plastic Bertrand, some horses taking a shit in a town plaza in Bruges, the list is endless.

Damn well probaby not even Belgian. About as much substance there as your claim to being a true supporter of Everton Football Club. Did yourself no favors again during the last match day event.

To prevent this degenerating into some free for all, say again, this player in question could be a worthwhile purchase or someone to look into, but trying to keep calm now

Paddy got a job on a building site and asked the foreman how he could help.

'Ive got a fork-lift license' said Paddy

'There's not much you can do now' said the foreman, 'but I could use a hand in making the tea'

'Why ?' said Paddy. 'How big is the fucking tea-pot ?'

None of these offered much humor apart from the fourth one about Irish cliff walkers, and even that only generated a short lived smirk.

I'd maybe offer some jokes or humor myself, but I'm not one for it, and above all else, I don't think they'd be printable.

Uruguay and Argentina co-hosting won't happen. That's a bit like saying West Ham and Millwall will take turns to accomodate one day. No love lost there. I don't know if I'll be able to witness the US hosting again in 2026 if we can stage it, but I read what you presented, and as with recent events, it was a fair point that I obviously overlooked. I did say I was tired.

I don't know why they never gave Canada the honor of staging the damn event. Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal etc, you got scope there for viable tournaments with suitable stadia. Shame they never got to host a tournament, and Australia also - seeing as they're now branching out into Asia, why not Oceania. Even a joint venture with New Zealand would seem feasible.

And that's that. - the season ended with three points and an impressive away victory at an awkward venue, albeit the opposition weren't entirely focused on the task this afternoon. Martinez deciding to play a near full strength team and Howard once again chosen for goal duties but we don't pick the starting XI. Was this Hibbert's last appearance ? Didn't even get to feature in the end, and whatever other changes occur in the close season the fact remains Martinez has done a very commendable job at the first attempt after last years arrival from Wigan Athletic. Fifth place, european soccer for next season, some very highlighted results, including beating Manchester United home and away - something no Everton manager has achieved since circa 1970 - and if only the disappointing results against teams such as Crystal Palace and Sunderland could've been retrospectively eradicated, the objective of fourth place may well of been ours for this season, but take nothing away, it's been damn impressive and no mistake.

Liverpool lose the league championship, Manchester United can't even get entry into european participation next season, and as before, a fifth place finish is a superb achievement, and Martinez has to take plaudits for his endeavors. An end of season that could've been so much the better with a champions league berth, but fuck it, we'll more than take the way the season has eventually ended. Damn relief it's all over in the true sense.

Difficult to comprehend sometimes those that castigate entry into the UEFA Cup (don't recognize the Europa League name so please be patient) as it's still a very commendable achievement and we get to play in Europe and experience further great (night) games at Goodison Park. Fair enough it doesn't come close to actual champions league qualification and involvement and we won't be playing the likes of Inter and Real Madrid, but at least for Martinez, it does represent a very fine achievement in his first season - remember also there were one or two that even envisaged a relegation, or was that some poor attempt at humor ? Still unclear if they were serious or otherwise.

Say again, can't quite remember a game like this for Everton where supporters appear so divided on the basis of one game. If it involved those miserable fucks winning an FA Cup for example (as a comparison of achievement) then could just about let it slide - but not for the actual league championship - and it's the prize they want more than anything, so why should we do them any damn favors in their quest for what they desire more than anything other ?

If Manchester City win I'll be "content" enough, if Everton win I'll be pleased but also with a certain level of regret and anxiety.

And even if City do win and there's a certain level of calm and relief for a few hours, what's to stop either Aston Villa or West Ham pulling out a surprise win in their last respective games and causing all manner of chaos ?

And are Crystal Palace really going to do the shite this weekend to make things easier ? Sure they're a competent side (now) and took points off us this campaign but got pretty good instincts and don't think at all the South London side will get anything from the game on the day.

It would appear "likely" that Arsenal will obtain 4th place, (so) you got to believe - or realize - it's out of our hands now - so whatever we do in our last two games would seem immaterial as the best we can (most probably) manage is fifth now - and if that involves losing to City (and they subsequently win the league title as a direct result of it) and beating Hull City on the last day, then we'll take it.

    End of story

Can appreciate the situation to a certain extent, experiencing my own difficulties in more ways than one, although wish not to elaborate. Yes it's all about different individuals with different issues and we don't always know the extent of what others may be going through, but tried to say we're never (really) alone in (unwanted) issues that life can provide. Guess one persons selfish appearance is anothers legitimate concerns, but in any event, sincere best wishes towards the rest of your recovery and may you (and indeed other participants experiencing relevant health issues) come through any adversities and be back to your best.

I'm just going to divorce myself from this game now, as it's about to commence apparently, and I have zero interest in this, but have to admit, would enjoy a Brazil victory if they can manage it. Feeling a bit apprehensive about some of the awful piece of shit news publications tomorrow in the event of an England win and nauseating saturation coverage, even if it is, a nothing fixture all said, that won't mean much.

Have to say, people always say Brazil 1982 were the best side never to win the World Cup.

Not so. It was Hungary in 1954, and after that, the Netherlands in 1974, some will remember.

He's a regular at Goodison Park and doubtless interacts with a certain number of others at match-day experiences but the likelihood of one of those said numbers reading these pages (or indeed page) would appear minimal.

I suggest the best way forward is to proceed with some damn social network type objective. What I mean is, as it seems 97 per cent of the entire worlds population is wasting their time with pointless trivialities hooked into facebook or something, chances are Mr Ingham may also be an active participant. It's got to be worth an attempt.

Wish you well with your endeavors.

All I can say is that I'm glad I wasn't able to watch it live because I'd have been a lot angrier. Goes back to what Martinez says about small margins.

Unfortunately it seems when he gets it right, he gets it very right. When he gets it wrong, he gets it very wrong. Doesn't detract from how good a season we've had overall but it's very disappointing that once again when it matters that we just serve up a performance like that. Still possible, Hull away will be a tough game for Arsenal.

Put United to the sword on Sunday and we'll be back in it.

Zidane has been mentioned here and there a little, but while a near world-class player, couldn't quite classify this player in question as of 'legendary status'. Michel Platini was a bigger name for french soccer and I think possessed an all-round better ability and technique but that's an argument for maybe age perspective. Yes Zidane is (or was) a highly decorated player that could provide some outstanding moments of quality and became over time, a recognized name, but don't believe he did enough to warrant anything deserving of legendary status. Doesn't deserve to be on the same plateau as names like Pele, Maradona, Yashin, Puskas for example.

Article in a news publication recently with Rogers declaring Anfield will be the deciding factor should they win the league championship this year.

In short, mentioned it's a throwback to the halcyon era of the 1970s and 80s with Liverpool remaining unbeaten at home for each season, bar one or two losses - at best - and teams afraid to travel and the 'scare factor' is back (or words to that extent)

I don't know what's going on with them, or this sudden transformation from mid-table mediocrity to championship candidates, but say again they won't be the most deserving champions if they somehow manage to pull this off. Lot of assistance on the way from (won't call them corrupt) match officials and they're not the great side many are making out - far from it.

Somewhere, at some point in time, this season, something occured that proved a catalyst to this resurrection. Could be the stupid arm-chewing nonsense with Suarez that created a load of media hype and made them a more stronger and cohesive unit, and they seemed to improve drastically after that disaster win 4 - 0 against us in the league a few months back. Before those events, I don't remember them up to much.

Manchester City have to win next weekend. Trying to find anything uplifting at the moment, and if they could take the three points back along the M62 and hurt their title ambitions with it, that would constitute a worthwhile endeavor.
