I'm a little dissapointed with what has happened to Billy to be honest. He has always looked like he could turn into a great player but in the end never really turned into one when we needed him. He's always popped up with those wonder goals but on the whole just hasn't added enough to the team to warrant being in our Starting XI. So long as we get some decent cash for him then I would be a happy man and I'll wish him all the best for the future, which looks like it will be with Wolfsburg. Also it's even more likely that he's going to go because he wants to play in Euro 2012 and from playing in the Everton Reserves I don't think he's going to get it.

A few good games from our players today. Fellaini always seemed to know what he was doing when he got the ball and never seemed to panic, not once in that game did I see him whack the ball upfield like Jagielka does, every pass that he made was across the floor and all of his moves on and off the ball where great. For me though Drenthe was the man. Each time he got the ball he took players on, managed to get into the box and always looked like getting us some goals and in a way he was the reason we scored (his run got us the corner which led to Osman's goal). For me he has to be a regular starter as I can't imagine not seeing him, we just don't seem creative enough when he's not around. Osman himself and Heitinga deserve mentions as they were really good today.

If we keep it tight at the back we will get a result here I think. Swansea haven't been too clever away from home this season so this is the perfect game for us to go and grab a result before Christmas, the Norwich game wasn't that bad in my opinion and I think had it not been for Heitinga's little mistake and Holt's luck we could have won that game quite comfortably. Like I said if we just keep the Swans strikers from running in our half we will do alright. I'm predicting a win; 2-0. Leighton Baines to get our first seeing as he is without doubt the most creative man on the pitch and Tim Cahill for the second seeing as he has been shite for the past year or so and needs to get his finger out - I'll let him have the second goal! I think if we win this game then we can really get our season going and start to win matches that we know we can win (i.e - Stoke and Norwich) without making silly mistakes and coming away without all three points. COYB!

Exactly why we shoulden't be going for him. We need someone that can find the back of the net and do it for us week in and week out. Players like Saha have shown over the past couple of months (or even years) that they are not going to be banging in 20 or so goals a season so we need someone who can in order to move up the table. With the money that Moyes has said we have got in our transfer fund I would be rather pissed to say the least if we spend it on Diouf who lets be honest hasnt exactly 'torn up the Premiership' since his arrival. I know there is an argument that with Blackburn Rovers he coulden't do much because they were shite but surely he could have made some runs into the box and maybe nabbed one or two? Whether you play in Manchester United or Accrington Stanley if you're a good player then you will find a way to grab goals. It's a big no from me - we need to sign someone who has already had a taste of scoring goals (eg - Defoe).
