The inflatable Gomes could partner the real Gomes in midfield and offer more than Onana.
shukes - are you happy to give him a clean and send him to Dyche?
I love Everton…. Buts it’s hard to give up my Gomes!
What about a wooden Onana?
Oh wait… I sold him to Everton already. -

You serious?
I’m not giving any lads credit for tonight.
2nd half only better because that first half was the worst I have ever seen.Yes, yes I am.

I will give the lads credit for this second half. Even when five down were attacking. We’ve also controlled the ball much better second half.
Could have been a record smashing here, but thankfully they have tried second half.

Don’t understand what just happened?
We gave them a penalty for what? -
Watching the Beto chance again, it is bad guys. It’s not as hard to score as you think. He’s not even really stretching.
Branthwaite was terrible for their first goal.
Garner was worse for their second goal.
Pickford somehow manages to beat them all for the third.
Fourth is Branthwaite and Tarks being equally terrible.
Not sure where we go from here.

We’re being outclassed. But he has to change the midfield. These lot are so poor in there. I would put McNeil in the middle with Doucoure.
Take Onana and Garner off and put some pace on the wings. -
This is going to be horrible. They are faster, sharper and much more technically superior than us.
Going to be a long night. -

Gave me goosebumps the noise from that run.

The manager for me needs to be a motivator.
coach’s are in charge of improving players.
I don’t think the players look unmotivated.
They look like the premier league is a step to far for most of them. -
Just doing a quick google search it seems not many clubs in the premier league actually own their own stadium.
As an example, even the Etihad is a joint venture between Man City and the local borough.

Terrible terrible performance. But somehow we got three points haha.
Gomes and Garner can’t play in the middle together, that was awful. Gomes looks tidy on the ball but it allows them way too much possession. Any other team would have dismantled us.
Most entertaining part was Beto’s cameo. Was an absolute masterclass in cheering us up. Started with the ball in the face, and just got more entertaining as the minutes went on. I mean the running straight on towards the goal and at the last minute turning to run towards the corner flag fooled everyone. Genius.

Who said Dom isn’t a natural finisher?

How do you guys get tickets these days? I always struggle...unless I'm leaving it too late?
Join a supporters club mate. I’m in Mid Wales supporters club and get tickets for any match I ask. Brilliant bunch of people as well.
I live in the midlands as well, so they are no where near me. -

I do like him and recognise what he can offer offensively. But he does make me so nervous when he hangs in to the ball. So many times last night he looked like he got away with it by the skin of his teeth.
But on the other hand, he try’s the passes that no one else has the technical ability to try. He should be used for the games we can win.

I look at him and think….. he is a talented player and generally looks our best player.
Its easy to see why so many other teams are interested in him.I see him play the same football he does with us, with Belgium. The big difference is their players don’t think the ball is an atom bomb.
I don’t understand why a few of our fans expect him to be an offensive dynamite? It was obvious from his first few weeks here that he was here to replace Gana. His natural state is to sit in front of defence and provide a link up. He won’t go for 50-60m no way.

Best everton performance so far today is the fans; in fine voice.
Was just saying that. Not many away teams come to St James Park and outsing their fans.

The right thing to do would be to asses him ore season and offer him what he is worth.
We won’t be able to afford a player of his ability for anywhere near that price.
We can’t punish the player for having an injury either. That would put us on a par with Spurs as far as morals go.
Asses him and decide what his form and ability level is, and offer him his worth.
