    It does seem bizarre.

I simply do not believe that no club before us failed to stay within PSR. It's an impossibility in my opinion.
Coincidentally clubs start failing it when the independent regulator is looking to be brought in, two clubs are charged and punished, all of a sudden there is an extremely quiet transfer window from all clubs.
    Hmm.

To be fair, though, I think at the time all was 'OK'. As in, a certain Russian was in the background putting money in in various ways.
So, financially, they probably had a plan and that was sound.

I think the FAB have been fantastic throughout all of this.

Exactly this, let’s now channel our anger into coming together and galvanising our strengths to beat the drop and stick to fingers up to the PL, as the saying goes don’t get angry get even, let the higher hierarchy of the club fight an appeal, let the team and fans fight to win every point available to us before the end of the season.

I am 100% convinced that this all started when the sly 6 decided they were going to destroy the English footballing pyramid to enrich themselves and our club was the loudest voice in calling for them to be punished heavily.
Richard Masters was handpicked by the red cartel of United, the shite and Arsenal so it's no coincidence that after going hard for them publicly that their lapdog is going after us now.

Yep. Plus the fact that our fans have ridiculed the smug looking prick at every opportunity means he's very unhappy that us plebs have the audacity to fight back.

They wanted twelve first time around, so they were actually looking for seventeen in total.

That's kinda my point...we've not been happy with hardly any!
Ancelotti, in my opinion, got away with his name. But so often we were dull as fuck to watch. However, I think if he'd stayed, with the funds we had then, different story a season later.
I think we sacked Silva too early. I liked him. But, again, we shit the bed and fans were calling for his head as soon as results didn't go our way.
    Same happened with Koeman.
Allardyce and Benitez shouldn't have been near the club.
Dyche, while far from perfect, deserves more credit than what he's sometimes being given.

Quite a telling paragraph from the clubs statement..
"Everton remains committed to working collaboratively with the League on all matters relating to PSR but is extremely concerned by the inconsistency of different commissions in respect of points deductions applied.

    That's fuckin madness.
There's too many contradictions between the 4 hearings (Evertons 3 and Forrests 1) for this not to be taken further.

Martinez because we played some of the best possession football I’ve seen as an Everton supporter, and Ancelotti he showed us again how to play football when others before him and after him couldn’t.
Besides Dyche who have you been happy with and why?

I fucking hate them and I hope us, Forest, Leicester (and whoever they decide to target next while they avoid the big fish of City and Chelsea) bring the whole thing tumbling down.

It's gonna be absolutely barmy if the season finishes with these appeals still to happen.
Imagine 'the best league in the world' potentially not knowing who's bring relegated at the end of the season?!

I think the point is that 'we' say the same thing year after year.
When a manager is disliked, it's one of the repetitive accusations that gets made.
And it's been made year after year for....years!
I think we can all agree that as the last 4-5 years have gone on, our squad is getting smaller and worse in quality.
Whether it's Dyche or somebody else, it's gonna be a tough job for years to come. And I expect the same accusation(s) to be repeated during those years.

I'm honestly still amazed that we got 10 points for the first one, and everything that's followed from that has only increased the amazement.
It's all been handled so badly.

I'm expecting 2 at the most. Any more and the epl will expect us to appeal, even at 2 they will think "they will appeal this"
0-1 is my guess. If they give us 1 I'd still go after them.

as a fan base we deserve a break. The last 3 years have been exhausting. This season is a shit show - a complete farce.

I can really see us getting something from that game.
We have an interesting 4 games in quick succession coming up.
    Chelsea, Forest, Liverpool & Brentford.
Imperative that we take points from Forest & Brentford.
Chelsea have a cup tie as mentioned above whilst Liverpool have a UCL away day, trip to Fulham & then play us at Goodison in the space of a week. (Whilst also playing West Ham 2 days after us)
There is an opportunity to pick up points from places we didn’t expect to get points here.

Absolute stonewall penalty. I could see it at the time.
But we don't get them. Exactly the same as Dom's against Bournemouth that wasn't given, and the Garnacho one that was given against us. Apparently there was one just like given in another game yesterday but I didn't see it and can't recall what game it was.

No. Because I don't think he's clueless and incompetent. At all.
We've played some of the best football we've seen in years under him. Not hard to beat, but still.
He said he wanted us to play better. He wanted to be able to play better. We were playing good football.
The only reason we werent/aren't higher up the table is because we couldn't score...
HOWEVER...where he absolutely does deserve criticism, and where my view of him has dwindled, is how he has gone about the long winless streak.
I'll hold judgement until the end of the season.
I do want to see more from us. I want us to get back to how we were those first few months of the season.
