jamiemaher85
I read the same thing. Moyes was in London yesterday to hold talks with BK. Think it was on BBC and SSN
MikeO
Daily Post this morning... DAVID MOYES will commit his long-term future to Everton after being given reassurances over financial backing from the club’s board. And a defensive midfielder will be high on the manager’s list of priorities after Lee Carsley yesterday called time on his Goodison career. Moyes, who has 12 months remaining on his current contract, has agreed in principle to sign a new deal following talks last week with chairman Bill Kenwright. Although nothing official has yet been determined, Moyes has been told he will once again be given sufficient funds during the forthcoming transfer window. Kenwright and the Everton board have backed their manager to a significant degree in recent seasons, with the club’s record transfer figure having been smashed in each of the last three years. Moyes had stated earlier this month that he envisaged himself at Everton at the start of the season, and is now expected to formally pen a new deal before the kick-off in August. Romey 1878
The Mail (I think) are reporting that Moyes will be given a £20million budget. If true, that's frightening. That's not enough for the sheer amount of players we need to bring in, nevermind the quality of player we need to bring in
