Im not having a go at moyes. He picked the only people he had avalible, but when you have 7 defenders on the field, you should be able to pick up attackers. He picked the only people he had avalible, but when you have 7 defenders on the field, you should be able to pick up attackers. .. agreed we should have done better but having more defenders on the pitch is going to bring more pressure on the back four over the 90 mins imo. Were just inviting pressure all game due to the boys in the middle being defensive minded (as a defender is!).. instead of pushing forward, making runs, picking the right pass out. Defenders also arent going to be as natural/comfortable on the ball to retain possession. Attack to Defend :medieval: Was good to see a couple cracking goals from us tho.. and with more attack minded players on the pitch we'll be instore for quite a season still im sure.. fingers crossed the injurys clear up asap and Moyes is able to bring in a couple (at least) of these players on his list.
