GMorrison183
For me it's Howard just because of that last save. Our side would've been absolutely gutted to have had a draw in this one.
Guest efctaxi
Good shift from Baines today , and though a few others were steady , I give my Vote to him . Pienaar and Baines are playing well together .
StevO
went with Tony, he was like a winger today, weird!
Ian C
Hibbert looked good going forward but was scaring the shit outta me with his positioning... Baines was great on both attack and defence so went with him.

chicagoblue
Had to give it to Ossie with the goal and always looked dangerous. Did enjoy watching Pienaar and Baines link up well, though the defenders pushing up were given acres of space. Quite unbelievable that we couldn't get a second. jamiemaher85
I've given it to Baines. He's been playing consistantly well in recent weeks and today and as no-one really truly shone I have given it to him as he has narrowly missed out in recent weeks. Osman also played well. scouse
Baines for me aswell, still think his link up play with Peanuts could be better but that will come with time..
Maghull70
Had to go with Ossie, not just coz he scored but coz he stood out to me as having clearly more class than the opposition. Thought Jagielka had a very ordinary game for a change.
toffee77
Baines, I hope he can make that left back his own. It means Lescott, Yobo and Jagielka have to raise their game which is only good news.
The Beard
Sitting in that wonderful expansive stands yesterday, i got a great view of the nuances of left wing attacking play and whilst Baines had a decent game attacking wise it could have been better. The amount of times he actually got the ball, in acres of space, but dallied so long completely frustrated me. But at least he was having a go. However for me Arteta was man of the match, completely bossed the game and got stuck in to, now he's cup-tied that may put Arsene off, but City may sniff around. On another note, i thought Jagielka and Lescott had off games but geting through to the next round is the main thing. Everton_Worshiper
Osman. Let's not get carried away, Baines is a stop gap player until Yobo is fully fit.
