On our official site under the paper talk section, it says hull are going to try and push through a deal today.

Anybody heard anything else about this. It has only come from the Daily Mirror

Maybe it would be better business for us in the summer .

Not a good time to give away a striker , and can't see Hull offering big money .

i don't see the problem either ... now with Jo (who can't be less of a threat than Anichebe), victor won't get any playing time at all.

Moyes had said he needed to prove himself .. with Yak, Saha and Vaughan out, this was his time, and he couldn't even make the team ..

we rather played 1-4-6.

We all know Big Vic Anichebe isn't the most talented footballer, but to get rid of him at this point of time would be stupid. Maybe at the end of the season he can go on his merry way, but for now we need all the players we can get. He is no doubt a better option from the bench at this point than the promising Jose Baxter etc

Slightly off topic....do people actually do this? Get a taxi, get to where they are going and then leg it???

I've been lucky so far with runners , though it does happen . It happens quite often with fares to a certain area too , but I'll not name the area so as not to offend anyone who lives there . Been attacked once or twice but still breathing :)

And have him embarrass himself? Don't be cruel to the lad Taxi :P

We would at least see what he can offer in the Prem with a full season under his belt .

Who'd take him though? Established Premiership sides wouldn't be stupid enough and the promoted sides probably have better strikers than him anyway. The only move he could make is down IMO.

He's not as bad as some here give him credit for .

A good run in the prem and he would score at least 2 goals a season .

Any team outside of the top 7 would be interested in him , especially on a loan spell surely .
