Lower Gwladys
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/index.php?page_id=9741 Suppose thats why he wasnt at that open training day. I'd put AVDM in there now and leave Mikel out until he is 100% fit enough to play. He seems to be getting injured a lot recently.
Adam
VDM still has another game ban left I beleive. I expect it will be a straight swap with Naysmith playing at left back and Neville going back into midfield
thebluenose
VDM will be back for the chelski game. but still he cant complete 90mins yet unless hes been training like a bodybuilder to get fit

ATB Mac <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It sickens me to say it Mac however since the comment he made about getting more chance of playing international football at a more fashionable club i think the writings been on the wall! The only chance we have is if he's picked for the world cup squad then maybe he will stay or we could loose him in the same fashion we lost Shrek.......catch 22 if ever! Mac
Happy to go along with your last Fozz, but every now and again a player who has a higher value than others comes along and every effort must be made to keep the bull killing, paella eating b*stard. Adam
Arteta won't go. Only jsut signed a contract. Everton would get a good price out of him so BK will most prob wait til he only has 1 year left on his contact and then try to get the best £3m possible
Mac
C'mon Adam - current player contracts have no legal value anymore, I wish it were so, but people no longer have the decency to stick by something they have signed, but it doesn't happen anymore. I like the boy but if we can get £6-7m for him, do it. ATB Mac

ATB Mac <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed Mac..its begining to smell like he wants a move so cash in on him..while we dictate the terms and not vice versa as was the case with graveson
Adam
That is what I was on about Mac. Its not the Everton thing to do to sell a player when we can get a lot of money for the player. We paid what £2.5m for him last season. If he wants to go sell him or 6-7m now and bring in a replacement. Would like him to stay but would rather have the money than an unhappy player. Not bad since we gave him the change to prove himself in the prem
thebluenose
but we are never going to be a top team if we buy a world class player and sell him because if we bring in a good player with the money raised from him then we will sell him off later. keep our best players and we will be a decent team
scouse
Yes but only keep our bets players if they want to stay
